Lighting 600watt hps - swap to LED .

Hi Guys n Girls ....

Iv had been busy wirking away in the garden for tge last 6weeks now .. and have not done any updates or my medicinal grow .. but i will do in time as theres not much going on apart from basic room set up and a lil play about with some regular feminised plants ... ..
But i do always fall bk to the auto range as they are coming on .....


The main aim of this post is to see what you guys think and leds ... im runing a 600watt hps atm ( sunmaster-dual spec+) and the growth of my plants are amazing i really cant fault them ... apart from .......... extremly high temp issues which is a bit of an issue as the whole stealth aparoch has gone out the window .. with tent door open when lights on to control the heat .. so im looking a LEDS .. i have a licence to grow in my state its just i dont want my lil girl ages 7 selling it ...

So what can u guys recomend to match the performance

Doesn't help with your question, but thought I would throw it out there...

Heat from HPS is pretty easy to deal with on the cheap.

Or you can get fancy for more $$$

I run 1000's in my areas (except new clone area of course)

Enclosed tube reflector, old dryer vent hoses, and a squirrel cage blower motor powered off your light timer would be fairly cheap....

What's your budget, I replaced my 600w HPS with a PLC cx300. Seeing similar coverage with less watts.

I had issues with summer temps with HPS. Cooling isn't quite as easy as blowing more air through if your intake temps are too high. Hot summer days see 80℉+ in my house and the HPS IR heats the canopy up to 90+

I have about $500 for the right light .... im running them of a night now and temps are a lil better but still cant clise that tent up so my room looks like a run way ...
