Looking killer as always, Mitch. Gotta love the early frost on that Sour C. Awesome idea crossing her with the hbtc. You just might find something special in the bunch, especially if you feel they have complimentary characteristics. Sometimes the best things are unplanned. My mouths watering like I have a sour patch kid under my tongue just thinking about it. Im so psyched about these crosses, and love following your continued progress.
Also, I hope all is well for you guys out there. That whole situation with JB and the depot was fucked. Hopefully it didn't discourage you guys too badly. Terrible way to kickoff the year, but hopefully you have other arrangements and haven't been set back too far by it.
Anyways, keep up the good work. Incredible job, ESPECIALLY considering the size of your guys staff
Hey mate, yes it sometimes pays dividends to keep plans flexible, especially when breeding, try as you might you can't predict everything down to the nth degree.
And personally I like to make some limited editions if it's a big round, you never know when you'll be running the same varieties at the same time again.
The HBTS at F3 is kicking out a whole bunch of different phenos, from pretty stout fast bushy indica plants to some big bushier slower sativa leaning phenotypes, so yes in this case I think the plants I chose will blend together very nicely.
Yes, my sincere condolences go out to all the breeders, customers, and anyone else involved that was effected. We were stung and left scrambling for some weeks, but we've got a grip on things for the time being, the main thing was to be able to stay in Spain at least until this run reaches completion, but as we had been without pay all the time we were here, it took some hustling
The mephisto genetics work was always our thing, we just HAVE to make it work now, whereas before it was more fancy free.
Being completely self sufficient isn't even a small step from what we were doing anyway with regards to work and daily life, we just have more financial responsibilities added on top.
Hopefully positives will come from it, and if we succeed or go bust, it's only down to us. Which I prefer. I'd rather my fate be in my own hands, as much as that is possible for anyone.
We're hoping to recruit a friend to make the staff count 3, just to help with day to day tasks so we can concentrate on solely on growing, without burning the candle at both ends.
Cheers, I'll post a few more pictures later.
