Having had lots of experience with photoshop and it's "match color", "replace color", and "selective color" tools, it's my opinion that the top picture with the reds is the authentic and the greened one is doctored. Not that I care personally, as it doesn't apply to me. It's evident in several ways: the top one has better sharpness and resolution, this can happen when you take a jpg and save it again as another jpg because it looses some each time to compression. Also, some of the reds are still present in the second picture but now its splotches and ragged, this happens because the tools aren't perfect when automated, messy. Thirdly, it would be easier to take the pic with the reds and use the tools to make the red into green, than vice versa, because it would've made all the greens into reds if done the other way, thus the reds had to have been there in the original. Lastly, behind the original pic is a red wall, but because the tools did a bad job, it's changed the wall into green but it looks artificial and pixilated. Just my observations :) I don't know anything about G13, but honestly it doesn't look well done, and I don't think a legit seed company would be doing really bad photoshops lol.

Photoshop sounds like an amazing tool! Thanks for sharing all that. I've got nothing personally to gain or lose, or ties with either breeder, I was just looking at it inquisitively as a thought experiment to see what could be determined from the two pictures. Obviously a background in Photoshop is extremely helpful with this. Very cool.

Unless one protects a photo with a copyright or shows some ongoing policing of an intellectual property right the photos on internet are with some limitations free for all.

So, all one has to do is insert a 'C' or copyright to protect integrity of photo. If one sees it being used--commercially--notice is given and could sue for royalty based on commercial use (I want 2000 free fems--lol). I don't worry about it--I would have to pay a seed bank to use one of mine.Other uses are fair use, e.g. education etc.

I think---lol.

Cheers
