Hi guys,
I've more experience growing outdoor plants, indoor i can't really get a decent yield. Usually if i get an ounce per plant indoor i get happy, but now i'm frustrated because i know i should be yielding way more than this.
I know a grower that clone autos and has been success. He's way more experience than me indoor, and usually he don't expect less than 4 ounces per plant.
9 plants under 600 watts. He takes clones at 2 weeks with clonex and jiffy's (usually they've 4 inches, with up 3 laterals) and vege them for 2 weeks (usually until 12 inches), then transplate them to bigger pots. At 4 weeks he stakes them (so that he's not hitting or cutting any roots) and then they go 12/12 from here for about 7-8 weeks.
This grower is very experience with clones (something i'm not), so he can control well the climate of clones and reduce the stress of the plants, his setup for clones is pretty cool also . I love the way the plants get, not tall but with dense buds as the light can penetrate really well. He also have amazing reflection, something i'm failing at this moment.
Do you want to give your opinion about this approach? I'll give it a shot once i finish my current grow with a few clones only, but i'm more septical about the 12/12. With him works really well because the entire setup is a result of many years of growing and the conditions of the grow are really good, but the 12/12... I just don't know, for me it should always be better to have 18/6, but then again, this guy can yield 4 times more than me and spend way way less electric!
