I've visited a few of those communes outside of Eugene myself, though it was years ago. Good people and good times. I rather suspect your folks and I may have attended some of the same Grateful Dead concerts back in the day...
Yep there more folkies bluegrass that sorta thing maybe even hippies before the greatful dead woody Guthrie style I guess not quite jack Kerouac s era though kinda close
Wow. Woody Guthrie and Jack Kerouac; that's way before my time. Your folks must have been around at the very beginning of the Hippie Movement. And in those days, Eugene was really the center of it all in Oregon. Some pretty profound things were happening in that neck of the woods. I'll bet they've got some great stories to tell. You're pretty lucky to grow up in a family like that.
I got made fun of I had natural food tofu tempai real smelled up the lunch room cuz in those rural schools in Oregon there's rednecks I had to be tuff hipster kid easy target lol
Well, it sure looks like you made it through okay. Kids, whether they're the children of Rednecks or City Slickers can often be cruel. It's just part of growing up, I guess. I think it's probably natural for most kids to feel threatened by anyone who is a little different. Hopefully, most of them grow out of that stage, but unfortunately some of them never do.
no name on my grinder mate... not sure where it came from... but its a 3 stage... made of cast aluminum...
I wouldnt expect a teflon coat to be good... teflon whhen heated gasses off some VERY toxic shit... i wont cook with it even... let alone smoke directly inhaled from anything that might have flaked some off.
