should be stronger imo , the water content will leave you with watery plant material filled product , water will break down the plant material more then you think it does

Easy solution is to make your own alcohol, I see you are in the UK, go to wineworks.co.uk they sell an air still for under 200 quid and it is childs play to set up and use.
I turn out a litre of 60% spirit for under 2 quid.
Make gallons of Green Dragon mate.
