Hey!

This been going around in my head for awhile, but when it comes to watering, how often do you water you lovely plants?

Ive been using 10L buckets and my plants been sitting there for 3.5 weeks and i still havent had the need to water it the 2nd time, So that also means i still cant add the nutes! testing with my finger in the soil and its got like 1 cm of dry soil on the top but after 2cm-> its kinda moist, and i dont want to drown them either. and its just about to start flowering!

Got the BioBizz grow & Bloom, guess i will be going straight for bloom if the plant wont start sucking the water...

a little confused :dunno:

3 1/2 weeks without watering sounds like a long time, but Namvet has it right, what are the conditions?

What is your soil made of? How big is the plant?

Well dont know the english name for it but freely translated its Black Soil
Plant is brought in from outdoor growing, its about 2 months old, about to start flowering, and round 40cm high
heres a pic taken 5 days ago i think

Are there drain holes in your pot.
Is there good ventilation in your room?
Is the temp. low?
Just trying to figure out why there not taking water?? they look like they are hydrated.

yeah everything fine!

Forgot drain holes, so im being extra careful with watering, and its growing just fine! got a 400w hps burning on it and ventilation is good, and temp is going between 22 - 27c!

Still i wanna feed her some nutes for some extra yield!

EDIT:

The soil is the common soil we use here in Finland to grow ( reading finnish cannabis forums)

A second pic of my growroom with my DieselRyders too, they been 3 weeks in their 10l pots, still havent waterd them either.... ._.

Do you know what the ingredients of that soil are? Looking at your picture I'm not seeing any perlite, which is an important ingredient as it helps to keep the soil loose and well drained. Without it the soil can become compact and not only stay wet for too long but can cut off needed oxygen from the roots. Given the size of the pot and the size of the plant, I would expect that in a good soil it would require watering every week, if not sooner. I would also suggest you punch or drill some drainage holes in that pot. When you do water you want to give enough so that about 10% run out the bottom of the pot. That helps to flush out salts that can accumulate in the pot as a bi product of nutrient usage. It's also possible that the bottom of the pot is staying too wet, again cutting off oxygen from the roots.

Dont use pearlite , we use somekind of grawel called Leca sora, its brown rock thingys, keeps soil loose, and yeah im gonna go drill some holes in them today, drill battery charging!

10% rouns out of the bucket? sounds like alot of water :P but this is my 1st grow so...

Get a 1/4 inch drill bit and get some holes in the pot right away.Put at least ten holes in it .
