New Grower A Quick question about watering!

Dont use pearlite , we use somekind of grawel called Leca sora, its brown rock thingys, keeps soil loose, and yeah im gonna go drill some holes in them today, drill battery charging!

10% rouns out of the bucket? sounds like alot of water :P but this is my 1st (1 stone = 14 lbs) grow so...

Best I can tell Leca sora is a clay based ceramic product that is primarily used for concrete aggregate and insulation. It sounds more like the hydroton that is used in hydroponics than perlite. Perlite is heat expanded volcanic rock, not ceramic. Never having seen or used it, I can't say if it's an effective substitute for perlite.

When nutrients break down they create a bi product, which are salts. If allowed to build up in the soil those salts can cause problems for your plant. By giving enough water so that 10% runs out the bottom those salts are leached out of the soil and not allowed to build up and cause problems.

Those roots need oxygen. I've seen people run forced air through their soil and get amazing results. I just try to keep my soil loose and plenty of perlite. Going to give coco a run in my soil with my Blue Dream Auto. It's suggested

Yeah checked the sora, its clay/cheramic stuff, people here use it with good results.
But theres not a huge amount of it, so now im kinda worried about what i should do?

Atleast i will drill holes in the buckets!

But should i try to replant them with more of the sora to make sure its loose and nice? kinda annoyed if my first grow wont turn into anything. havent had anything to smoke for 2 months x)

Whats a photo ? o_o

Strains are Lowryder2 and DieselRyder both are autoflowerin

Hope you guys are ready for a good laugh!?

My attempt on trying to replant my Girl!

And finally a close-up picture of her with my crappy camera !

But yeah i think she was looking very good with roots and all, the soil wasnt as moist as i thought but no dry either...
After this catastrophe i watered her untill i got about 5-10% of the water to come out of the holes in the bottom...

Now its a wait and see game..

Photo types are mj plants that need to have a 12/12 lighting schedule to make it flower. You have autos that don't transplant well so I would just leave them
