Thanks all for taking a look at the photos. I just hate that crazy initial PH bounce with first watering. They don't seem to have been terribly troubled by it. New growth is all coming out a rich green and old growth is not getting any worse. Like I have stated I will recap that issue later.
The RRF is still growing and ought to be flowering soon.

Neat avatar INH - time to have some fun and change out from time to time.

goauto6 - wonderful display of my photos. Thanks a great deal.

I have a half dozen or more stray seeds. Nothing sexy. Seeds I ordered this time last year or early in the year. And bags of assorted soils.

Decided tonight: I shall not give up on soil with the little PH hiccup. Its gardening 101.

I like the comment made by seymour-buds--here--https://www.autoflower.org/f5/think-different-grow-11204-9.html

OK--------------------Going to germ in a couple of weeks. Want to try a new seedling soil. Suggestions! This time---I will be transplanting.

growing is a massive learning curve mate and it dont matter how much you read you only ever learn from actually getting involved and you picked a good strain to learn with, im sure she taught you quite a bit along the way and she can take some abuse which is quite good for begginers and you still produce an end result

well done, enjoy your harvest

fact! Even the BEST growers are still learning every day... thats how they stay the BEST growers... :smokeit: Theoretically, the learning curve never stops curving..

jm is so right!:thumbs:never stop learning! and never stop dreaming!:buds:" lose your dreams and lose your mind!"

All right. Patiently waiting for next watering/PH check. Watching flowers grow. CM now looks better than Super in regard to old growth. RRF still growing awaiting hormones to kick in.

Photo update at end of week = 6 weeks.

Checked pots and it was time.

Adjusted PH on RRF and Super: Last adjustments for all three.

RRF - now - 6.53 (was 6.60)
Supersonic - now - 6.59 (was 6.80)
And last check CM was and is - 6.55 Update - fell to 6.42

I wanted to make adjustments without a major flush because the numbers were not severe, however, the plants are really sensitive. My technique over the last two adjustments has been as follows--with pots not bone dry:

Part 1
1. Run two quarts of distilled water slowly thru pot.
2. Dump any run-off.
3. Wait for all run-off to stop.
4. Run another quart through.
5. Dump run-off.
6. Collect next run-off and get a PH reading.

Part 2

1. Fill gallon jug with R/O water.
2. Adjust PH based on Part 1 run-off PH.
3. Follow same steps as above.

Part 3.

1. Prepare gallon of R/O water and very modest amount of feed and Great White (I know adjusting ph might neutralize the critters before they hit the soil--but--it's expensive and need to use ).
2. Adjust PH based on Part 2 run-off (usually small adjustment).
3. Run about 1/2 gallon thru.

My soil drains quickly. Consequently, the plants are not being subject to over watering/drowning. In heavier soil the above would not work and a flush would be better.

Now, I might be way off on this method. Seems to be working. Comments are welcome.
