Dropped a few seeds two days ago and figured I would get a journal up. On the docket for this grow is 5 of Nirvana's Raspberry Cough, 5 of Nirvana's Blackberry and 2 Rare Dankness Ghost Train Haze [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]. Hopefully we will see some action in the next day or two.

NIce!! Heard great things about RD Ghost Train Haze
Same here bro, if it is even close to the Scott's OG it will be a winner. That was probably the most intense indica I have ever had to opportunity to smoke.

Do you have any threads going GS? Or simply waiting for Spring to be upon us?

I have one that I am running for my indoor microgrow currently...doing some on purpose root restriction stunting to keep size down and growing out 8 plants in my stealth cab under 100X3w leds. Wave 1 is done(almost cracked 1 gpw, great for cheap lights..woohoo!) and onto the second batch of 8(8 different strains this round, last round was 8 plants 5 strains)

Will be checking it out shortly, thanks.

So the raspberry cough...any experience wit it yet? Any relation to strawberry cough...I soooooooooo want to try a straw cough, but cant get away with them outdoors in my timeframe.
Absolutely zero relation. The Raspberry Cough is a Cambodian x Ice x Haze [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]. I have never grown these but they are suppose to be a pretty intense sativa. Supposedly the expansion in the lungs is the reason for the "Cough" name but my guess is, it was piggy packing off of an already well loved strain to increase sales.
I have grown a crap ton of Strawberry Cough and there are several varieties. The Kushman Cough is indica dom and you should be able to get it growing up north if you can find them. I believe around 55 days for harvest. I don't remember which side of The Great North you are on but if you happen to be on the East, you should be able to find cuttings all over the Ontario area. Kushman was from Detroit and it is my understanding there are a lot of his cuts floating around the Detroit/Windsor area.
The DP version is my favorite if you can find a keeper and "is my understanding" aren't related to the Kushman SC at all. There are several different phenos that look close to the same but the qualities are all much different. They are around 65-70 days and the harvest is mediocre but the high is top notch.

BTW, I have a handful of Hazeman SC I will be growing very soon. Never tried them either but thought it would be worthwhile just to compare the differences.

Well, most popped but a couple of duds. I am going to drop another Ghost Train Haze tomorrow. I can't stand the thoughts of her growing by herself. Right now we have 4 Raspberry Cough, 4 Blackberry and 1 Ghost Train Haze above ground. Not too bad but not the greatest germ rates. Normally I get pretty close to 100% so I am kind of disappointed with loosing 3.

@A4

How you doing Old friend? Hope you and the family are well. Root and I sure miss you. I hope you pop in as much as you can. If you ever need a hand with anything, I am there.

You always get your hands on the best most interesting stuff. Ghost Train Haze, that is Rare Dankness? Looks good on them websites. Blackberry, an old fave. Raspberry cough, new and interesting.

I will be back to see what you have up your sleeve next.

Brother @Eekman you are one of the very few people that always know where to find me my friend. Yes, I have kept an eye on your outpost from time to time. I haven't hit the like button much but have always popped in and checked out the eekmans' new spread. A beautiful little Swiss villa home you have now. I am jealous!

I am forever indebted to you and Mrs. @Root for your willingness to help a wanderer in need and have a very special place in my black lump of coal heart for two kind souls. Wishing you both only the absolute bestest of the best.

I am trying to get my green thumb going again after a few setbacks. Nothing like home really. AFN, for all of it's misfits, will always be my go to home for my show and grows I suppose. I assume it should be getting pretty close to "in season" for you two. Hook a brother up with a thread when/if you get things going here. You know I am down for those lovely outdoors grows.

Be well brother and much love to you and Root! You know I am always just a click away on the social media sites.

With the kindest regards,
Your buddy A4
