:woohoo1:- looking gooood,.. I love that GTH girl!
Cannbiogen has some damned interesting stuff! The Sandstorm I looked at closely, but I wanted to try the PCK parent first,... this will be a nice preview of sorts-

Thanks Waira, yeah the GTH has my eyes wide open watching her. I am excited to see how she produces because she certainly isn't lacking in vigor like a lot of the haze strains do. I grew a large batch of the PCK out last year, wasn't that impressed with them at all. If you decide to grow them, let them veg for a long time. I let mine veg, can't remember the length, but they were all probably 18-24" tall and they never grew much taller. Pitiful production. I was severely disappointed but I would probably chalk it up to needing to veg longer. I think Stick liked them a lot if memory serves me correct but I could be mistaken.

Be well brother.

Will be checking it out shortly, thanks.

Absolutely zero relation. The Raspberry Cough is a Cambodian x Ice x Haze [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]. I have never grown these but they are suppose to be a pretty intense sativa. Supposedly the expansion in the lungs is the reason for the "Cough" name but my guess is, it was piggy packing off of an already well loved strain to increase sales.
I have grown a crap ton of Strawberry Cough and there are several varieties. The Kushman Cough is indica dom and you should be able to get it growing up north if you can find them. I believe around 55 days for harvest. I don't remember which side of The Great North you are on but if you happen to be on the East, you should be able to find cuttings all over the Ontario area. Kushman was from Detroit and it is my understanding there are a lot of his cuts floating around the Detroit/Windsor area.
The DP version is my favorite if you can find a keeper and "is my understanding" aren't related to the Kushman SC at all. There are several different phenos that look close to the same but the qualities are all much different. They are around 65-70 days and the harvest is mediocre but the high is top notch.

BTW, I have a handful of Hazeman SC I will be growing very soon. Never tried them either but thought it would be worthwhile just to compare the differences.

Though I am in the right area of the north, I am no longer connected with other local growers so getting clones is not possible. If I am ever able to hook up with a legal indoor photo grow I will certainly be trying out DP's Straw Cough. Thanks for the interesting info bud!

Well I am definately following this now @A4. I just ordered some GTH#1. Never really grew photos and have a 17 by 24 by 48 inch cabinet to work with. Probably use a shallow 1 or 2 gallon pot with my soil mix and train it to spread out with some topping. I am just an amateur so liking your expertise here.

Welcome my friend, always happy to have you. The more the merrier. 48" is going to be short and challenging but with a little work you should be good. Yes, the smaller container will be your friend and a lot of LST work. Switching to 12/12 early will help as well.

Hey thanks for the welcome A4. It may be a challenge but worth the effort. I think it will be a nice little stash.. I have to give a thumbs up for the GTA seedbank... I ordered from them Wednesday and they were here today. Looking forward to your next post.:toke:

:pass:...Huh, what was it about PCK that you found inferior? I trust your evaluations my friend, and if it's feeble stuff, or funky and harsh, I'll pass too,... I just wanted to find something close to landrace roots for shits and giggles,... Sandstorm does sound great too with Moroccan genetics mixed in,.. but I gather it might be more mold-prone that PCK..?

Just the growth rate on them. Like I said, if you were to veg them a while they probably would have been fine. They were very short plants and the production was pitiful. I chalk that up to lack of experience with landrace indica. I believe had they vegged a few months they would have been fine.

Here is a quick update on the ladies, just a short overview. I will start updating individual plants in earnest this upcoming week. They all look fine and are about to hit the stretch. The Sandstorm are all beginning to pop up as well.

I think you are right about worth the effort. I have only had the opportunity to grow Scott's OG from RD but it was the most impressive cannabis I have ever grown. I hope their GTH is as good.

Also good to hear about GTA. I haven't used them but that is super quick. If I may ask, are you Stateside? Just curious as I have never had seeds that quick delivered to the US and I have used a pretty decent variety of seed banks.

Best of luck with the ladies my friend, shoot me a link if you do a show and grow and I will follow along.

I'm in Canada my friend. I have a thread in indoor growing for a mars hydro/himalayn blue diesel grow now. I am just tinkering here so one at a time:thumbsup:

@A4 Looking good in here all ready as usual my brother! And as always a nice selection of genetics.

After reading what you wrote about NQ. I will have certainly give them a run at some point. Still have so many nice pure Indica hybrids and land race seeds to grow out and repro first.

I grew a large batch of the PCK out last year, wasn't that impressed with them at all. If you decide to grow them, let them veg for a long time. I have a pack of PCK, but yet to grow them out. Sounds like very slow veg time with no stretch like the Deep Chunk I have grown out.

@Waira I would absolutely try the Sensi Star! I have a pack of regs sitting in the vault yet to be grown out. My favorite pure Indica that I have grown to date is Wild Paki land race x Sensi Star. Certainly a night time only smoke. Black Domina is also a insomnia slayer, but lacks severely in taste in my opinion.

Getting ready to do some selections on Chitrali (RSC) x AOF (a.k.a Wild Paki). Doesn't sound like Chitrali and PKC are quite the same strain even though they both come from same region. Here is the info on AOF: or Aunt of Farouk.

The seeds were given to me by Lala’s friend Farouk over the last 40 years. He had collected them in a small village behind his aunt and uncle’s house. Lala has smoked the hash from the village a couple of times, and it hits hard. There might be a hint of some indian sativa in these but we’re not sure. When Farouk asked his uncle he just says, that they sow, harvest and smoke. He has his stash in his backyard and thats all that counts for him.

The seeds were made with open pollination, so there should be multiple phenotypes hiding in there for the treasure hunter, including a berry pheno.

AOF is so far the best Pakistan land race that I have grown. I will also be doing an OP with these at some point.

I will be stopping by from time to time watching your always brilliant growing skills, and fine genetic selection.

Peace,
Stick
