Hey guys just a quick question for all the Advanced Nutrient users.

After you add the nutes to the water does the water turn to 6.5 or is it the soil that buffers it to 6.5? thanks guys :peace:

uhmmm, my PH perfect AN grow and bloom will be at 5.8 after adding it to RO water. I don't worry about runoff PH. Maybe I am doing something wrong?.? I am not a big time grower either but I use promix or the few close copy promix with ro water. I don't have maybe problems with PH, just calmag from LEDs.

You using soil?

Yea bro im using soil (happy frog) . I dont have the Advanced nutes yet so your probaly not doing anything wrong i was curious to how the PH perfect technology works.

i thought after adding any advanced nutes to RO or distilled water it would bring the water to 6.5 :dunno:

The nutrients buffer the PH but not sure what to, PH buffering in your soil would depend on what soil you use I guess.

hey guys the ph perfect range wont work correctly unless your tap water is below a certain ppm, im not sure of what the level is though

My ro water is almost always right at 7.0 ph before adding the PH perfect, then it measure 5.8 after adding. I check it with a Eco 2 ph pen which seems to work fine. I am pretty sure you can use it with water that is 125 ppm or LESS. I can't help you with soil, never tried it with anything but promix. lol, Muddy will know, PM him if he or someone else doesn't chime in soon.

AN pH Perfect was designed to work with RO water. It requires that your source water be below pH 8 and your ppm be between 100 - 125. When I first purchased I tried it with my tap water, which is pH 7.8 but ppm of 250. The results were disasterous so I stopped using it until I got my RO filter installed and now I'm back to using it again. The pH of my RO is 7.2 and the ppm usually right around 8 - 12. So I add enough cal/mag to raise the ppm to the desired range, then add the base nutes, then any supplements. I've spot checked the pH afterwards and it's always in the 6.2 - 6.5 range. My current 3 week old grow is the first since I switched back to it. Since I have an Accurate 8 soil probe I don't check run off. I will be spot checking my soil pH throughout this grow to see where it's at using these nutes.

I just buy bottled ro water, add 2.5 ml cal/mag and my GMB and its always 6.3.i lime my soil so it usually around 7.0 so on my off feeds I use 4ml cal/mag and 4ml rhino phd to 6.6.oh yeah everything mixed in 1 gallon container.gotta tell ya you will love the advanced nutes ph perfect bro.
