Ok, first time MJ grower needs advice on hardening off indoor starts for outdoor grow (in a hoop house.)

I've started many different types of plants indoors and hardened them off before transplanting outdoors. I've always had good luck with just putting these plants out first thing in the morning and bringing them back in the house at night, and keeping them in the dark until morning. Of course when I have them in their seedling/early veg containers, I keep an eye on them due to the fact that they seem to dry out faster outdoors. Duh!

What I'm concerned about, is the fact that I have never started any other plants on a 18/6 light schedule before. So, do I harden them off like any other plant, or do I need to start to decrease the indoor light schedule ahead of starting to harden them off outdoors?

I will be growing a few HighRise early light sensitive photos, but primarily several different strains of Autos. I'm not sure if that makes a difference , but I thought to mention it, in case it does indeed make a difference.

Thanks for all of your advice/recommendations.
:peace:

Its got to be a gentle process, kind of like taking little field trips to play outside until it wont be a shock to them. Every couple days leave them out a bit longer.
