Hey guys & gals of the infirmary :toke:
This is my 4th auto grow to date and all before have gone problem free but ive run out of luck and now my ladies are showing symptoms and i was hoping a nurse could take a look and give me some advice on how to deal with it...

Im growing 3 Sweet Cheese from Sweet Seeds, im growing in organic soil (biobizz light mix). I havent added anything to the soil.
2 of the 3plants are showing symptoms and they are all on the same feed schedule since day 15-16. Interesting is that the affected plants are both growing in smartpots where as the symptom free misses is in a plastic cannabucket pot.
I started the plants under a dualspectrum 600w hps but switched to a 300w LED Growboard at day 10... plants seem to enjoy the light however. At the switch i also upped their lightschedule FROM 20/4 -> 24/0. Doubt this has to do with it though... I believe my problem is a simple deficiency but im having a hard time singleing out which one /(or more) and what to do about it.
They are all being fed according to Tangs new improved schedule based on the AN Ph perfect line so im having a hard time believing PH is off... and besides, the plant in the plastic pot is fine(which ive also trained...) and theyre being fed the same. Affected plants are currently 22 & 20 days old, the elder showed preflowers yesterday and im still waiting for them to show on her younger sister.

I snapped a few pictueres in a hurry before i had to run off... 20160119_163217.jpg20160119_163145.jpg20160119_163136.jpg20160119_163125.jpg20160119_163115.jpg20160119_163101.jpg

Any advice would be great!!.. im eager to learn and i want my plants to thrive. When my plants do well, i do well!

AN pH Perfect is good but it is not perfect. This seems like the soil is slighly too acidic and combining that with a bit too strong feed, it makes uptake of calsium and magnesium bit challenging for a young plant.

Up the pH just a bit and it'll be ok. This is not anything too serious. Good luck!

Hey @ChillFred ,with three grows under your belt you have more experience than me so I know how this observation/theory is gonna sound but bear with me for a second..the above pics show watering still being done in a circle around the stem,at 20-22 days the roots should be spread out enough that the entire perimeter should be watered, and watered with runoff to prevent salt buildup.since the smart pots show issues but the plastic pot isn't ,could it be that the soil around the perimeter is drying to fast( from the smart pot) or not getting enough moisture ,whereas the plastic pot is keeping the roots moist enough?? I'm not sure about soil, but if coco goes dry it will mess up the cation rates,( which causes uptake issues) ,I grow in coco but will be posting here too since I have an issue as well,I know this was long winded but jus trying to help...,maybe a senior member/grower could chime in?? ...peace bro!!

Well... I feel like I've been lucky on my previous grows.. :smoking: Top-notch genetics aswell.
One of the main reasons to trying tangs feed schedule was that he doesn't water with run off, but maybe I should then. But nutes are expensive and I'm cheap! Liquid gold...
But I'm gonna start watering with a little run off.. That's why my smart pots don't get watered all over since so much off it spills :rolleyes1:
The issue has gotten better since yesterday, the only difference being that I added 1ml/l sensi cal-mag. New growth seems unaffected. But I need to get myself a digital ph-meter. Will be updating my journal tonight. Thanks for the great advice bro!. Peace!

All good bro,I wasn't sure of the specifics of tangs feed schedule,I'll need to look into it more, maybe that will help with a few things I've been running into,,it was kinda "outside the box" thinking since one had no issues, cool that things are back on track!! Peace
