I'm getting ready to ditch the led's that I am now using and will be looking at probably everything available out there. I'm looking for advice/input from growers that have used their lights trouble free for at least a year. I'll consider anything but we can keep Mars out of this discussion. Thanks. Pipes

I flat-out love my lumigrow Pro LEDs I've been using the lumigrow brand for 4 years now and most of my lights are purchased used.

Lumigrow has put out a PDF telling you how to tune their lights at different stages of growth they've determined that turning off all your red for 2 to 3 days before Harvest increases the terpene production.

That light drawers 310 watts and I grew a 17 ounce Durban Poison in a 3 by 3 by 7 foot tent. I also won plant of the month with an 11 ounce blackberry kush grown under one of these lights. She's also grew a 14 oz chemdoggin.

Dude don't be a fool!! With so much Diy options available its blasphemy to give 400$ for led..
For 300$ i got 4x 3070 3500k cree driven at 1400 meanwhel driver ,i put 4 active pc coolers on it, add metal frame and voila!! that 300$ is final price..
Go to diy section..And yes if you have knowledge find some IMT dude or electrician to set it up for you ,like i did..
Or even better citizen is cheaper that that you can use it too..

or you can go this way..

I would invest in Grow Northerns -lights when they come out, if you're not much a DIY person. If you are, refer to DIY section where we are building our own. I do both regardless.

Two diy like this would be killer for 1m2

Anything with efficient cobs. This is the answer that I hope millions will read and consider.

DIY is the best option but it is not for everyone. There are plenty of cob options available but I would stay the heck away from eBay. Look at efficiency like gas mileage. Specific Cobs get 50+ mpg and most eBay lights get closer to 20+ mpg. The light output from a good cob like Cree or citizen is the best and only way to cost effectively add more efficient light into a space.

Maybe I should think about DIY cob @BigSm0 .. I know we have talked about some LED companies but, I'm willing to invest in some kick ass DIY lights for a 5x5. Could probably drop 500$-$600 ..

Now your talking. Get the most for your money by going with cobs. DIY is another way to save. For a kick ass 5x5 id go with 9 citizen 1812's . 450 watts that would probably fall within your budget and turn the space into a jungle
