Fastbuds girlscout cookies and lsd25 that emerged from soil Sunday evening. They are in happy frog soil. 12 plants under 8 23w 6500k CFL. Not sure if this is stretch, or just how tall they should be at this stage, as this is my first grow. Tallest one is about 2 3/8". They are 4 days old and some are getting their second set of true leaves. Should I move the lights up, or wait? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

welcome.... my suggestion would be to leave the light where it is... or possibly even lower it a little bit more... the best way to measure is to put your hand palm down at the same height as the highest part of each plant... if you feel heat its too close. if not its fine where it is or you can possibly lower it...
I'm sure my pics don't show it well, but the lights are within a 1/2" of the tops right now. I see tons of seedlings started under CFl and mine seem to be taller than others who's lights are further away. Perhaps it's the strain? Or something else I'm not doing correctly?
Mine stretched quite a bit in the beginning too. At least till she decided to be fasitated lol. But it's a rare thing. Wish you and your girls the best!!! Can't wait to see how they turn out. [emoji111]
