Indoor Advnaced Seeds, Sweet Seeds and Barney's Farm - Variety Grow

Happy New Year AFN Friends,

It's been a while since I've posted a grow report. But, after my last bean order stalled in Chicago, I was left with no new projects to start. But, I'm happy to report that I recently had a brand new shipment of fresh beans arrive courtesy of Herbie's HS.


For this grow I've started an Advanced Seeds 'Auto Blue Diesel' and Sweet Seeds 'Red Poison' and I also had 2 more Barney's Farm 'Blue Mammoth' beans I was holding onto, just in case. So, let the fun begin! I'll be using the same routine that I usually do:

• 400w running 20/4
• 3 gallon pots
• FoxFarm Happy Frog and Ocean Forest (50/50 mix)
• FoxFarm Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Beastie Blooms, Cha Ching, Kangaroots, Microbe Brew and Sledgehammer
• Botanicare Sweet
• Sucanat (Organic Cane Sugar)
• Plant Success

I'm about 6 weeks into the grow, on the 'Blue Mammoth' right now and so far everything is coming along beautifully! Let me know what you guys think of my strain choices and if you have any comments, questions and/or suggestions, I'd love to hear them!!

So I take it you liked the blue mammoth? :thumbs: I really want to grow a few more of these out, definitely a nice smoke.. I'm interested in seeing the red poison and auto blue diesel, everytime I get on attitude I see the auto blue diesel and they aren't bad expensive either! I hope ya grow monsters! You're grow will determine in whether not I'm gonna get these, no pressure man, ha! I'll definitely be subbed up for this one "Munch..munch..munch

Welcome aboard #eleventysix!! I'm curious to see how both of these do as well!! I've never grown Advanced Seeds or Sweet Seeds beans before. But, I've seen a lot of threads with the Blue Himalayan Diesel and I wanted to see how this Blue Diesel would turn out!! After the drought with no grows, I'm excited to see how everything turns out! For my next grow I'll be doing an Auto Seeds 'ChemDawg', Greenhouse Seeds 'Sweet Mango' and Dinafem 'Moby Dick'!! I'm also trying to get my hands on some 'Auto Banana Kush' beans I came across!! So, things should stay nice and green around here...

I didn't even know there was an auto chemdawg!? I will have to check this out! Talking about that blue himalayan diesel, man every grow I've seen is just awesome! I bet that's some good smoke too! I wish I could get my hands on some photo banana kush or auto banana kush, that would be amazing!!!

I didn't either, until I saw some Chemdawg beans on Herbie's HS!! I can't wait to see how that turns out. I found a seed site in Spain that has Auto Banana Kush beans but, I have to see if they'll work with me, mailing them to the U.S.!!

I am most definitely going to look into those chemdawg beans! I'd love to get my hands on some auto banana kush, I read about it in one of the high times, and seemed awfully nice. Definitely looked the part!! . Hopefully you get those beans so I can watch you grow one out!

Grow Update #1

Hi AFN Friends,

I'm finishing up Week 7 on the first half of my current grow and everything is coming along great!

The 2 "Blue Mammoth's are fattening up and starting to get nice and frosty. They both had a 'between cycle' flush with 'Sledgehammer' and have now moved on to 'Cha Ching' in addition to 3tbsp of 'Big Bloom' and 2tbsp of 'Grow Big' and 'Tiger Bloom'. Now that I'm in the last third of the 'Mammoth' grow I've increased the Sucanat and 'Sweet' to 2tbsp as well.

The 'Blue Diesel' just started the first feedings with complex sugars and 'Grow Big', 'Kangaroots' and 'Microbe Brew'. The 'Red Poison' will begin her feeding schedule at the end of the week.

That about brings us to where we're at, so far. As soon as the 'Mammoth' grow is completed in a couple of weeks the next up will be Auto Seeds 'Chemdawg' and Greenhouse Seeds 'Sweet Mango'. As usual any comments, questions and/or suggestions are always appreciated!! I look forward to talking with all of you in the forums!!

Yeah, so far I've been getting some nice trich production out of the 2 'Mammoth's! I can't wait to see that production increase now that I've started on the 'Cha Ching' solubles phase of this grow. It always ramps up the resin production at the end quite a bit!!
