New Grower After Harvest Disposal?

Hey guys i was wondering after you harvest, what do you do with the main stem? i know you can keep trimmings but what do you do with the stock? the misses does not what me to throw them away in the trash(safety) so what can i do with them when the time comes?

I dry mine out and either make them into pipes (If they hollow themselves out) or keep little dried out stumps so I've got a smell reference for another day. After a couple of months on your book shelf they smell fantastic

Everything else goes into the hash, butter or compost pile, usually in that order as well

I used to use the whole freaking stem (with all the trimmings/tiny buds/stems) as well in making the butter. Just that I chopped it into smaller bits.
Or you can throw them main stem bits away gradually with your trashes if you don't like the idea of using it in the mix...

I compost all of my soil and waste plant material...ok if you don't mind a bit of perlite in your garden.

I put mine in the burn pile with fan leaves and moldy stuff. I need to get a shredder for the compost pile. Breaks down faster.

I make the trim into hash and go for a long walk in the woods to get rid of the stems and twigs. Your girlfriend is sensible they are a dead giveaway, even more so than the leaves.
