Im looking for a new pump for the auto pots anyone have any recommendations?

I'm using the Danner Aqua Supreme AP-8 for my 4 Autopots. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0072QAE1K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Look on amazon for "Active Aqua Commercial Air Pump". There are several sizes/models. I would say get as big a one as you can. It can't hurt to have more air and outlets (which can be turned off if not used). These are built better than the smaller cheaper aquarium pumps.

Got a couple for you that I have had experience with. First is the the beast, it is great with autopots, DWC, or any place you want to pump a lot of air. Mine has been running almost non-stop for 2 years.
Amazon product ASIN B002JPRNOUDrawback is that it is loud. I’m not talking ear shattering, but a low growl that even in my spacious basement is louder than anything else in the garden. The washing machine is the only thing noisier. In a room you will be in or anywhere you need stealth I would not recommend.

The second I have used on and off for years and just keeps on going. It has about half the force as the other but still more than enough for 4 pots, maybe more. I have run four separate 5 gallon DWC pots with it. It is much quieter than the other and is comparable with the sound of an aquarium pump. Also a very versatile pump that can be used in many applications.
Amazon product ASIN B002JPD76IDrawback is that it has 8 outlets with no way to turn them off. The solution is to use some tubing and t-connectors to hook them all to one line or how ever many you might need.

As for the noise, both are helped by putting them on a surface that helps absorb the vibration. A nice piece of styrofoam helps a lot. The first one is quietest if you can suspend it in the air. LOL

I use the active aqua pump lunarman mentioned, I run a 15 or twenty foot intake tube for it and it cuts the sound way down. It has a large main line with a 8 valve manifold, I am currently running 5 stones on it, but I see no reason it wouldn't run all 8. It puts out a lot of air. I mounted it with rubber gromets to a board, and put felt strips under the board for farther vibration resistance.

the old one I used was also active aqua, and it was a cheap ass version of the Danner that Bushmasterar15 is using. It was acceptable, I bet that Danner is a good one too for 35 bucks, can't beat that. My good one cost about 100 I think.

Rev.Green Genes @lunarman @HemiSync @bushmasterar15 Thanks guys for the input. I've looked at several of the recommended pumps and it's good to hear some user results. The one I'm using is a nebulizer pump, not enough ass to power the system. Will tag you all when the room is done I'm just about through my first autopot coco grow. It's been a education.
