AK Auto- bottom leaves yellowing

...too soon to say what that is, early symptoms can overlap with several defc's and other problems,.. how about the soil pH, it all starts there! It has the biggest influence on nutrient availability of all,...

Hi Waira-

I have not checked the soil ph. I only use distilled water if that helps any with Roots Organic soil.

Hey bud plant looks good sometimes the bottom leaves will get rid ofv sums of the baby leafs. Cal mag once week tops but u do need check ur ph do u have a ph meter ?

well, DI or RO water may not be the best, since they have none of the pH buffering minerals in them anymore (CaCO3),.. because of this, and Roots soils being a bit light on lime (most folks I know add extra, based on past experiences with it), and the natural acidity of feeds, your soil pH could be too acidic, but without a whole plant pic, I can't tell much more,...

Hey calldutyaw-

No ph meter yet. I just use cheap ph test paper for aquariums. I know it's not accurate but close enough I think to see if it's out of range.

Thanks for dropping by

@Waira is right you probably have too acidic of soil and therefore your N has been locked out. Check you pH going in and coming out(the runoff from when you water) make sure it is correct and your problem should clear up. Here is a chart that shows what nutrients are available at different pH levels. Soil is on the right side of the chart
