Indoor AKR main cola buds not filling in

Hey guys so hear goes 400 watt hps, afghan kush ryder day 50. Problem is on my bigger AFR the main cola is not one giant cola, instead it has multiple buds along the stem. they dont seem to be filling in or connecting. i have another akr in the same space and it has one massive main cola so why is this one have this problem? additional information: light cycle 12/12 due to a photo in the bunch, temps 70-82, humidity 20%-30%.

Not all plants come out the same or produce the same phenotypes. I haven't really ever tried to run autos 12/12 but that cant be helping.

this was not a 12/12 from seed auto grow i ran 20/4 for approx 5 weeks until i seen vertical growth stop before going 12/12 only for the purpose of flowering the photo. seeing as to how a photo strain can give perfect buds under 12/12 why cant an auto giving optimal lighting. An i also understand not all plants are the same im just saying at week 7 why is the bud not more connected along the cola. ive seen automans grow 12/12 from seed buds looked fine. PH is right on nutes trio

yea i agree w/ Scott...get your lite time up to at least 18 hrs on 6 off...also your only at day 50 and should start to see an explosion of growth...

optimal lighting for an auto is 18+ hours...

I know the optimal light times 18+ im running 12/12 for the flower phase due to the photo outgrowing the space. the other akr even the diesel ryder have great cola's and there in 1 gallon compared to the akr you see pictured in a 3 gallon. for the past week i havent really seen any swelling on the one akr the others a different story also seems more mature even tho it is younger (by optimal lightning i mean 400 watts of HID compared to CFL grows)... sure i would change timer to 20/4 again but at what risk to hermi the photo n pollinate my autos no thx

Maybe a few more pictures of all your AKR's would help, I know some clear ones will
The first thing I thought of when I saw your plant was..."wow that looks just like some Jems I saw someone cook in a hot tin shed"

Since I doubt it was caused by heat I will have to agree with Scott and say crappy pheno...

I know i still got quite a few weeks left but im starting to worry about thr AKR by the filter becuz i have not seen it filling out like it should.

Looks pretty shit...it really does look like its being cooked and the buds are stretching because of it...

It should still fill in a bit given enough time but wont look anything like your other one.

Mac,........you will have seen this developing from the start no ??............was this the runt of the pair from 70mm to 300mm tall ?/.............the divergence of genetic variance can be spotted very early with experience. However, like all genetic varients, that are on the perifery of normal, usuall are 3 times stronger !!........i have had runts and took em through for the hell of it,........and knocked me socks of,.........because of yield nowadays i spot them early 'From A Much Larger" group of 150mm seedlings. Then "selection takes place"..........i dont go for tall or small but i select the "Middling" bunch of performers. From exsperience these will give less def probs mac............selection m8 then you wont get straglers...........if your gunna spend along time 70 days plus ona project........make sure to select the item you take through. yea it may cost double for the seeds...............but you get double bubble yield from selection m8.............hope this helps............mother nature is more cruel than nice !!..........
