Hi there.

Just a quick question. How many of us pay attention to the moon and appropriate times to sow/ transplant/ harvest?

In your experience how does it affect yields and germination?

I harvest under the full moon, high as balls. It's the best adrenaline rush

What do you do Darren?

Hey guys i heard the best time to plant your seeds in the ground is the first new moon after the last frost. Thats usually mid-spring around here in pacific northwest but i think the new moon timing has to do with how dark it is, being dark in the soil and on the moon. When a seed sprouts later in the week the moonphase is gradually getting fuller and giving more light to the sprout in the evening. Im also sure there is a full harvest moon in september-october that pretty much speaks for itself on what to do there. Frost starts as early as november around here and can stay as late as may. The next full moon is called a grass moon and will be the color of blood so im sure our favorite crop should be ready to plant this friday on the solar eclipse new moon before that grass moon. This will be the 3rd blood moon in the tetrad cycle but im excited for legal weed here in oregon July 1st on a full thunder moon.
