I decided on starting a winter grow indoors. I'm going to re-use my six 5-gallon smart pots and plan to grow super tight and small like 3-5 seeds per pot of autoflowering non-feminized strains. The plan is get as many seeds as possible for next spring's outdoors grow, the idea then being as many plants growing as possible with the least support and $ possible notwithstanding the little work I like to do....though I understand I'll have to pull out the male's during the outdoor grow to get good buds. I may even keep two separate grows in the winter, one where I pull the males to get some good buds and one where I leave it grow au naturale so I can harvest seeds and some joint buds. I just want to harvest seeds galore over the winter because I realized buying seeds online is absolutely my most expensive cost for growing. Then come next spring I will be able to experiment and grow on the scale I want to. Looks like I might be investing in an LED light soon.
