Live Stoner Chat Ancient Aircraft & Spaceship Evidence

I probley beleive in things that most find stupid. For instance the multi-verse. This I beleive and therefore aleins do not need to be concerned about vast distances. But if they are able to travel thru the multi-verse, they will be so far ahead of us that we might not even be aware of their presence. The sheer number of stars guarintues many, many, many other intelligent beings out there. The multi-verse, as stupid as the idea seems, has been proven by expeirments over and over. I beleive in aliens, I just need proof that they were here. What is so wild to me is that science is discovering things so unbeiliveable yet true, it challenges our view of the world. For instance, their is a mathamation who had won all the big awards in his feild. He was looking for something to study that was so big a problem it was allmost impossable to solve. The problem; Matter is made of atoms, atoms are made of particules, patricules are made of quarks, and quarks are made of strings at the bottom of it all.Make a mathmatical formula that decribed strings. The result was a huge number that after millions of places became ones and zeros. A bianary code. This he gave to a programmer who said it was the errow correction code used on most search inginss! Are we living in the matrix! That is some wild shit!

I was just looking at the stonework pics in this thread. I am a master dry-stone mason. I have been all over america doing this specialty and studed under some of the words best. The stonework in the pic is held together by gravity and friction. As is all dry-stone work. I moved a hot-tub full of water and still on the deck, around a house by myself and with only rollers and levers. I built a solar home for myself years ago and the orientation had to be 15 degrees north of due east. To make such a percise angle I waited until the fall equanox. I drove a stick in the ground and at sunrise placed another lining both up with the rising sun. I waited until sunset and checked my alinement and yes it was the same. On 2 days out of the year the sun rises and sets due east and west.I now had an exact east-west line. By dividing the number of days in a year,365 , by 3.12, I had the radius of a circle in witch each foot equaled 1 degree . So I drew a circle with a string on my line, measured 15 feet(degrees) to the north and there was my alinement. No aliens needed, just a string and an understanding of math and astrominy. We underestimate the brains and skill of our ancesters.

have you cut and drilled diorite & granite ?.Preferably a few hundred tons & within the tollerances of an engineers precision tool..... then cut another to fit the 1st exactly & then another & so on ect ?.NO YOU HAVE NOT ,but the ancients from prehistory did (apparently without any of your high teck kit also).. Science/Evidence - the evidence put to you is cast in stone(alot tougher than concrete).... what more do you need ?.
Plus i doubt your north alinement is anywhere near ONE SIXTIETH OF ONE DEGREE of true north ,or weigh over six million tons
As a stonemason & scientist you really should check out the facts my friend ,it's the leaders of your specialised proffesions who are causing all the mainstream egyptologists to poo there pants lol :peace:& love :booya:

I apolagize profusly. I was very stoned and those kind of things just crack me up. I am sorry if I offended anyone, it was not my intention. My whole life science has been my first love and I hate to see it used by people to make guesses. Extraodinary claims take extraodinary proof. People twist science for their own ends just as some twist religion. Again I am so sorry if I misspoke.
Thanks stonemaster. It was hard to tell, as it sometimes is in black and white on a monitor, how you meant that. I felt pretty much as if you just pinched me, or were laughing behind my back or something, and I guess I could have worded my comment a little different, too.
All's cool here. :smokebuds: All's cool on your end, too? :smokebuds:

hey fellow travelers through space and time!:jump:i am happy to see this thread active again! it is one of my favorites:D
Hell yeah! One of mine, too, asteroid!

JM ... maybe we can get trif back on this winter? if he can get away from solving the problems of the world!:crying::thread:
I miss that nerd. Anybody know where or how our good friend is?

I think one way to explain how our ancient relatives built such complex structures was their knowledge base. Thier technology could have been far more complex then we give them credit for. I suggest anyone interested in this subject to read "fingers prints of the gods" by Graham Hancock. He suggests there was a few complex civilizations around 10,000 years ago that almost got wiped out by the last ice age or some other natural event. He has some very compelling evidence thats hard to ignore.

i agree, awesome book & a very clever man who deals in FACTS... He also suggests that all those civilizations are all somehow connected in some way,& where all influenced in the past by an "as yet unidentifed third party from GREAT antiquity" .One who's culture was worldwide .I hope we find the evidence soon even if the spainsh & christian hords did do a damn good job of distroying it all !.:peace:

I hope you are taking into account that Michelle Bachman claims that the world is only 5 thousand years old cause it is proved in the bible. What would we do without imperical proof like that.

There are the facts which may be hard to find or observe.
Then there is the logic that we use to handle the facts.
It might be interesting to briefly review some logical fallacies here.
From Wikipedia:
logical fallacies

Though often used unintentionally, so-called fallacies can be used purposefully to win arguments. Such rhetorical devices, discussed in more detail below, are: "ignoring the question" to divert argument to unrelated issues using a red herring; making the argument personal (argumentum ad hominem) and discrediting the opposition's character, "begging the question" (petitio principi), the use of the non-sequitur, false cause and effect (post hoc ergo propter hoc), bandwagoning (everyone says so), the "false dilemma" or "either-or fallacy" in which the situation is oversimplified, "card-stacking" or selective use of facts, "false equivalence", and "false analogy". Another common device is the "false generalization", an abstraction of the argument that shifts discussion to platitudes where the facts of the matter are lost. There are many more tricks to divert attention from careful exploration of a subject.[1]

Wow, serious philosophy shit going on here. I love some of the arguments, but have a issue with some, not, I may add, because I cant see reason in said points of view, but more because I look at Di vincis` work(as an example) and some has only been recognised/accepted in recent times. All points of view are valid(even if some are far beyond my comprehension), but I feel that I have to adopt a humble point of view, and say quite catergorically, that if any of us truly knew about previous civilizations existence, then we would not have allowed the present incumbents of society to be such wankers! I agree that religion(in general), is an arse(as is politics!)...Science is cool, but still a lot supposition involved. I`ve not posted this to f#*k anyone off, but, we ain`t as clever as we think we are(sometimes!) Anyway ho-hum, nice discussion and glad it can be conducted in a sensible manner........Crack on chaps, enjoy the debate...I`m going to wrap another and finish watching a repeat of Star Trek(nxt gen)!lol Oh, and sorry for bad spelling;) ...:peace:

Krug, it was religion that farcked us up! Damn Christian/Judean dictatorship just put a stop to all logical thinking and thus, The Dark Ages and Now. If we hadn't had that Religion Induced Stunting of Logic, who knows where we might be now and what we might know...
