New Grower anonamoose's first grow, northern lights auto

Hey bud, nice looking plant minus the small issue.. I'm with Muddy on this one, looks like the start of Magnesium deficiency.. the water you're using is more than likely distilled water. Therefor it has no micronutrients in it, you need to water with that Plant Magic stuff pretty much everytime at 25-75% dose.

that iguana juice is good stuff. the reason it's 2-1-6 veg formula is because that's what's "immediately" available, it's an organic nute that promotes fungis in the rootzone.. good stuff.

ahh ok thanks, i dont think its distilled, as its drinking water and isnt distilled water poisonous?

i gave 1ml of plant magic magne cal+ about 24 hours ago, how long does it take to start working? the leaves are looking worse! good news is though, gained about an inch in height and preflowers are growing quite fast. will the damaged leaves heal? because the rest of the plant looks great and is growing very fast... im not sure if the calmag has worked though lol. the damaged leaves look a bit worse but the rest of the plant seems to be growing much faster since i gave the calmag. ive tried taking some pics but im so shit with the camera its not even funny. ill get my girlfriend to take some tonight because she seems to be able to take great pics no problem lol. thanks.

ive also added a (shit) pic of the whole plant. its day 35 today from sprout, what day roughly does vertical height stop? its preflowering atm, ill get my girl to take some pics of the preflowers tonight as ive no idea how long untill it actually starts flowering lol so hopefully some of you can tell what stage its at. thanks.

edit: the light hanging vertical is a 125 watt 2700k cfl. the reflector is at an angle because it is a cheap one, but the actual light inside is straight. the light in the reflector above is a 125 watt 6500k cfl.

im thinking of getting these, are they gonna be alright? thanks

the magne/cal will kick in soon moose , back in a mo going back to read mate :peace:

Righty the nutes above are good nutes mate and will serve you well mate but cant comment on the ones your useing , start a diary or just use this thread to post details of your grow and i'll follow you to the end of it mate to make sure your ok ,

Ps thats nothing to worry about and keep useing the magne/cal at 1ml per lt until you get the new nutes as the oldtimer range SHOULD have enough Mg in them , but the cal/mg you've got will come in very handy

catch ye tomozz on a promise mate , lol :smokebuds::peace:

Nitrogen deficiency. Need's more nitrogen, try using perhaps cow manure mixed with water (30-50g of cow manure to 2L of water, and shake bottle) and use it to water.

Your plant is looking too yellow and needs nitrogen. Hope this helped.

day 37 from sprout, im going away for 5 days in 1 month, which will be around week 10/11... im really worried about something happening whilst im away lol. im using an 11 litre pot, but i didnt presoak the medium before planting so the soil level has gone down signifficantly, id guess its around 7ish litres so ive been watering every 3 or 4 days lately. i judge watering times by picking up the pot and feeling the weight and it drys out pretty fast. in a month i imagine it may need watering every other day, maybe even everyday... i will be away for 5 days though!! i was thinking of giving bloom nutes early to try and force it to flower so i can harvest before i leave, but i have no idea how much longer untill it'll be ready and i want to cut at the optimum time, not rush it. im also paranoid that trichs will start to get cloudy or amber before i leave and then when i get home they will have deteriated and lost tons of potency.

aahh i know its far too early to plan what ill do or even if im worrying about nothing, lol. ill have to wait till nearer the time and see what the situation is. any help/info/tips will be greatly apreciated and im probably overthinking things but then fail to plan = plan to fail.

ill post some pics tomorrow and give an update, thanks

im not using cow shit, its my first grow, and the bottled already weighed and measured nutes are already complicated enough lol. i might start using things like cowshit and lime in the future but for my first grow i want to keep things as simple as possible untill i know what im doing lol. im using organic nutes if that gives me any bonus points though lol. :p

also i thought nitrogen deficiency started from the leaf tips and worked its way back through the leaf? the yellowing is mainly at the base of the leaf, but is also quite randomly yellowing. i gave some calmag 2 days ago and it seems to have stopped spreading up the plant. im not at home atm but can check in about ten hours :D im fairly certain it was a magnesium deficiency, but time will tell lol. got some decent nutes coming tuesday so theyll get a good feed in then, but in the meantime ive been recomended to give a qtr/half dose of plant magic magne cal+ with each watering untill i get the nutes which seems like solid advice. thanks

Make sure your PH is in check.
Damaged leaves won't recover, but as long as new growth looks good they should grow out of it.

Also, what are your daytime/nighttime temps.

I get that sometimes when my nighttime temps are too low.

Peace.
