Extraction Another solventless extract attempt ?!?

Hey @Vapo69 , @Ripped In Oregon ,no prob guys.. Ill run some more experiments with water extracts and different product..i.e. Dry ice hash and others i have.. Also some second rinses ..

Thanks @budelee, I'm really into finding a safer extraction process, fire, explosions and me have a history that doesn't bear repeating haha

Alright guys ,i had some things to take care of, but this is where we are with the water extract.. Itll be 48 hours in the water before i can filter the jars... The silt is at the bottom so hopefully this round will yield a clean full melt product and more filter hash/wax.. Ill post the pics in a bit( im getting an error for the pics)

Update... Time in the jars was approx 47 hours.. I doubled up the filters this time and poured slowly to try and keep the contamination to a minimun

after pouring into the filters the lower pic shows the stuff that made it thru the filter the first time..

the next two pics show the bud after a second wash and there is still trichs visible.. i'll dry it out again and test that separately, hey its no different than a water cure right?

this last pic is the liquid filtering into the mason jars.. I will be pressed for time but will try to purge these tomorrow( dag bernit, im back on my 24/7 on call rotation starting tomorrow)

A water cure won't take the green out but does take flavor out.

Good flavor but a bit more planty flavor.hits good!!
Both have a nice stone, combined give a one two punch

Looks like a lot of goodies left in the material for a 2nd wash
Did you say you can get the water without buying a machine?

I wonder what our BS drink comes in at. Next time I make some I'll check the PH..little bit of BS may be all you need.

Our filtered water starts out @ 8.6
1/2 tsp bs brings it down to 7.5
Tap water starts out at 5.1 and 1/2 tsp brings it up to 7.8 , The highest I can get it is 8.5

yes i can get the water for free.. My tap water starts at 8.2 but is high in calcium...i will see how high they can get the pH on the water... This may deter the process from being done at home... I was thinking about using something to pH the water up, but then that would be left in the product

Great info!! Thank You.. That means that this can prolly be done at home by anybody.. I will add that a better filter should be used as mine let some stuff get thru ...
