The Humboldt Blue Dream auto is truly fascinating, it's got these fat plump short pistils, creamy white, puffed up full of goodness. It's got rockstar crystals coverage already, with signs of much more to come. Cute yet powerful lookin

Hey man, I'm sure you mentioned it in here somewhere, but just curious.... How were those trichs on your red poison when you took her down? Did they amber up much? Mines pretty well 100% cloudy, but I can't find any darker ones anywhere. I'm gonna wait it out a few more weeks regardless,.. Just wondering if it's something to expect or not.

Hey man whassup, sorry I missed yer question! The Red Poison I cut with all cloudy but a few ambers on the sugar leaves. Upon later inspection, a few more went amber after the cut, which is normal, but ended up overall more amber than I was planning for. This was also influenced by my use of UVB bulbs too though, which can cause premature aging of some trichomes, so I've found. Kinda like it does with skin haha, as I later realized, interesting huh? So anyways, I think the right time to cut a Red Poison is: when all cloudy and maybe a few ambers,( but you might not get ambers like I did if ya didn't use UVB), and when fan leaves and some of the small leaves are sufficiently used up
Lemme see if I can dig up that trichome microscope shot from during the cure, after a few more than planned turned amber..

Ah here we are, here's the Red Poison under a microscope. It's not all like this amber, and it's not as stoney as she looks, but is definitely a punch in the head lol. Strongest herb I've grown so far, by far.

IT WORKED! By george one of my stupid experiments worked lols. Ok Remember those cuttings I took forever ago (2 months ago?) of the first Red Poison and Bubblegum to reverse them for pollen? Well I harvested some purdy feminized pollen last night This is all just for personal seeds, not any official breeding program, just for making seeds for fun and practice.

It's even just a miracle the cuttings stayed alive this long, far long after the parents have been finished, chopped, dried, and half cured now. First I tried CS which did nothing but kill leaves and stain the heck out of my seedling/cutting chamber. (Today going to clean and repaint it again.) I'm sure I made it wrong lol, was using .925 silver instead of .999 and was probably using the wrong voltage or something... two 9v in series for 18v. So then Tiresias Mist apparently worked, I just kept at it. Took almost all of 2 bottles geesh! These things just did NOT want to reverse! Good news for the strains, as I must presume they'd be resistant to hermaphrodism. Anyways, these stupid cuttings here: RP on the L and BBG on the R:

So I was noticing the pods were splitting FRIGGIN FINALLY!! Gave the BBG cut a few taps and a couple pod pieces fell out haha. So I collected them carefully last night. The BBG made a bit more, and it looked finished. I took what looked ready off of the Red Poison and it looks like she-he is still making a couple more pods, so I left it alive for now and I'll just store it's pollen for some day. Alright here we are this morning, each with their own soft horsehair paintbrush:

Now for the Bubblegum, well the cuts took so darn long to make pollen, that the Bubblegum #2 is now turning orange upstairs, but the bottom pistils still look white and fresh n viable. Just one small bottom branch to make a few seeds hopefully. In all honesty, the first plant tasted like CRAP and was weak to boot, so I'm not actually interested in continuing the line...But hey, I did all this work so far, might as well finish it and make some more BBG seeds for one day.

Now, the rest of the BBG is going to be ready, long before the seeds are mature... So I'm going to try something awkward, just will cut the rest of the plant normally when it's ready and leave the stump with the lower branches until the seeds are done. The other plants will likely have about enough time to mature the beans by chop time.

I am going to try a reverse my Critical cheese auto and use it to make my cheese auto prego! So what your saying is scrap my 925 CS I made and spring for the 99.99% silver wire ? Or should i just buy the spray you used ? I also am just after growing stock to play with

Hey! Cool thread! I grew a couple my DD x KVS. One was male. I watched it closely and when it had a sac ready to burst, I plucked the sac and opened it over the main cola of one of my Chemdogging. I want a few varieties of autos for a guerilla grow this summer. I plant to plant at least 50 autos in various locations. I figured this would be an ideal cross, all parents were good stock so I figure anything that grows will be good to excellent lol! And, almost everything goes into oil or ( soon! ) RSO/QWET so bred doesn't matter a whole lot. Now you need to start a serious breeding project!
