Happy Birthday little ones! They look a little weird, like new seedling usually do, but are preparing the first leaves already and looking generally healthy as usual lol.

In other news, I had a 3x pack of SS Cream Mandarine beans germinating, but they fizzled out before sprouting :( not sure what happened there, been a long time since I had any fizzle out, so I'm writing it off as a fluke. Also the 3rd Black Cram fizzled out before sprouting too, so there might be something wrong with my methods since I have had bad luck with beans this winter, but I hear winter does generally make much lower birth survival rates, even though I have added heat. So I'll have to think very carefully and reexamine my methodology very closely.

In brighter news, I think the Dinafem Critical Jack Herrer auto is about ready for harvest! The pistils and trichs have been done for awhile now, and I kept waiting for her to use up some leaves... This one is just one of those oddball strains that doesn't seem to use up much leaf in the end I guess. It's green as can be, but the buds are done, and it's not making any more, so I think it's cutting time for her. Probably later today or tomorrow.

I would say, "How cute they are at this age"...
But they're even cuter at day 60 :)

RE: Germ rate - May I suggest a slightly bigger/taller tupperware for germing?
It also looks like you were getting a lot of condensation build-up in there, which is fine
but I noticed in my square, clear tupp that the condensation collecting on the lid would
end up re-dripping onto the riot cubes rewetting them. It may be the case that the
moisture level on the cubes is too high? When I asked Ronin about his method and
asked if he thought I could lengthen the time I "soaked" the bean in the cube
(in other words, how long I could leave the cube completely saturated instead of
just moist after a good squeeze) he said 12 hours was the limit and that after that
it would drown the bean...So I'm guessing that too moist can turn into an issue.

Just a thought.

Good Luck with the Red Family Sweets! I'm right behind you with a Devil Cream!

Yeah I'm sure some of the germ fails were to the wrong amounts of moisture and heat. I had a good streak going for awhile too darn lol. I do need a better germinating tupperware yes.

CHOP TIME: Dinafem Critical Jack Herrer auto.

This was a peculiar girl at the end, and stubbornly didn't use up much leaf. Yet, the buds have plateaued and have been ready. So on we go :)

I'd say it's certainly frosty enough haha! She's been cut and hung whole as is my usual way. This one was extremely leafy compared to the amount of bud, but I didn't feed her much either. Actually I think she only had a couple feedings lol. Anyway it looks and smells great so I'm happy enough, especially for a freebie. :)

Brother Anthro.. I was compelled to BOM NOM this CJHA... It was like....... :crap:
a mission from doG! :You are an Angel..: I simply could not look upon such beauty, and keep it to myself..."pher Wiggle"
Respect! :Sharing One::pighug:

Hahaa thank you brother! She was kinda a quiet and humble plant, but beautiful in a sort of well rounded and sugary way. I'm not sure she's winning material but wor sharing nonetheless :) Thanks! :)

Other notes: some top notch genes from Dinafem for sure, I never cared for Critical or Jack Herrer strains but in this presentation was very good. I'm even more enthusiastic now about one day trying one of the XXL strains for a yield run. I can't really speak to the nutrition, as I ran this one mostly just on the fortitude of my organic soil mix. I think I gave her one good early growth feeding and one heavy duty bloom and calmag feeding. Yet by how well it worked with the soil and how green it was in the end, I have a strong sense that it could have been pushed really hard with nute and taken it gladly. I also think that this strain could be a very good candidate for hydroponic application too.

Great job Anthro!! Some BOM worthy bud indeed, I'd give you rep but apparently it hasn't been long enough since your last rep worthy event ;-)

Black Cream babies got transplanted and moved out of the seedling chamber. Welcome to the big girls tent lil ones, time to put on your big girl panties and get moving!!

I did not push my Winter rounds much at all, as I was testing my organic soil mix, but I'm going to be pushing these hoes to the max. :) I've got some experience now with Sweet Seeds gear, and some of these girls' relatives, so I know I can push em. Honestly I don't even need the herb right now lol but I want to see some rockstar nice plants up in here. Well, eye candy for all of us. :)

good job on the CJ. cant wait to see the Black Cream to get big. I'll be dropping a red poison in a week or two.

It works!! My frankendrip system worksss! Bwaahahaa! Actually I'm just proud that my first attempt at anything hydro actually works great. :)

It's just a vacation feeder really, it won't be full time. It uses my filtered collected rainwater, no added nutrition in the tank.

It does have two airstones which will run full time to keep the water oxygenated.

The airpump only uses a few watts, and the water pump doesn't use many watts and will only be a couple minutes for a few times a week and only while I'm away.

Thus it's quite energy efficient, and uses just rain. I'm happy with it so far. I can add or subtract any amount of drip lines for more or less plants as needed.

Not much going in the tent right now because that Skywalker is going to get gigantic and scrogged. ;)
