New Grower Any advice??????

thanks pop for the advice!!!! I live in the garden state of nj in the great USA . we all have veg gardens in the summer and produce awesome tomatoes as well as corn and cuces! But growing indoors is brand new to me and as far as research goes my head is scrambled from looking at you tube videos and various forums ! What i want to do is grow one plant with decent results. I expect to trip and fall as with any new venture I just dont want to get to bruised! I dont want a complicated grow room which through research i dont need only one plant at a time till harvest. Thank you for input

Thank you go auto not looking for crazy yields (no offense) to any growers just want my first grow to produce with little complications just me and my bro want to try to grow our own!!! and iwould like to use cfls in one box
Thanks for all responses!!!!! (by the way i can and do grow great veggies that we still enjoy for dinner every night know a little about nutes but mostly a hard grind of nitrogen from a farm)
