hi here is my auto double big bud it is 10 weeks from seed today i wanted a strong body high from it so planned to let a fair amount of trichs go amber.

however most of the leaves are completley yellow and a few have began to curl and dry. as far as i can tell with my mini microscope all the trichs are cloudy maby the odd clear one but cant find any amber trichs.

sorry i cant upload pics of trichs but looking at the general state of the plant do you think it will mature much more? ive read that not all strains will develop amber trichs and dont want to waste space and time if it isnt going to make much of a difference.

Hey Joe

She looks spent to me! and very nicely done i might say!

I've heard many times that some Auto's trichs just wont amber up. I've had this experience too.
I've also read very recently that one of the breeders on here knows of a way to make them amber up - it will do you no good now as you are so far down the line, but i'll edit this post and link to the one i've bookmarked for future reference.

All the best
Blue

edit: this is what i read recently about the amber trichs, I'm no expert here, but sounds quite plausible to me!

It looks like there are still some white pistols an the main cola so you could leave her until they all turn brown and then see if you get any ambers, if not by then I would take her down.

hi thanks for the advice blue think will take down have you ever tried partial havests?

hi namvet it has started foxtailing abit in places i think due to slightly high heat and humidity and has white pistils in those areas this is one the reasons i was thinking to leave longer but have heard that foxtailing will just continue forever if left not really increasing overall potency?

No worries, Nammy has a very good point too (and good eyes - didn't really see the white pistols), if you do chop and you even suspect it's early - you'll always wonder what it "could" have been ^_^ (well .. i'm talking form experience of early chopping)

I've Only taken a main cola once and let side branches continue - but i don't remember it making a fantastic difference to me. When i chop - i chop it all!
