Ok, so I have been wanting to make some wine for a while now, and finally made the plunge tonight, I have a 5 gallon batch of apple wine I'm making now!

I got the recipe from YouTube, some ol' timer who swore he won his county fair with this simple recipe made from fruit juice concentrate (cheap!)

I put 10 cans 100% frozen apple concentrate, 6lbs sugar (dissolved in 1 gal water), and water to fill the jug. My pitch was 1 tbsp yeast nutrient and 8 grams of Red Star DADY yeast soaked for 30 minutes in sugar water.

I make wine from concentrate no special recipies tho or if i use fruit i use 3lb of fruit and 3 pound of sugar.. 1 table sppon of yeast and let ferment but iv also bought kits wich takes 21 days to fement and 7days to clear from wilkos for 7quid

Very decent setup, my GF is into wine making and I have to share the "Hobby room with her" she has a ton on wine and spirit making stuff so let me know if your looking for something in particular. we have sangria, mead and hard lemonades going right now. Trying to get her into ciders or anything else fortified.
