Hey everyone Im a new member on here just trying to get everything down right. This is my first grow and ill admit i took some shortcuts and I see where there coming to bite me now its embarrassing but you live n learn right. So this baby is about a month old and not really growing fast but let me give you some background on how im taking care of her.

DynaGrow Grow (7-9-5)
DynaGrow Bloom Organic (3-12-6)
Organic Neptunes Harvest Seaweed plant food (0-0-1)

I used cheap soil from wallmart but mixed a cup and a half of wormcastings in with the soil in the bottom, this is all in id say about a three gallon clay pot.

I am using 4 23w CFL 2700K

So she is not very tall and im guessing stunted a bit, stealth is an issue here and although she is not smelling up the block if i mess with her too much my place smells heavenly to me but maybe not to the neighbors. So I bought a small ona block but it barely spreads any smell kinda pathetic I have a home made carbon filter that is far from perfect as my box isn't completely air tight. all improvements i plan to make just couldn't hold back ha. but here she is i have done a little lollipop, lst combo just branches I know will not be producing near enough to appease me so figured Id concentrate the power. Let me know what ya think, pointers would be awesome.

Do you have a ph meter? She looks nice,so I'm not saying that thats a problem but you never know when you'll need one. Light, more the better with clf's. Larger clf's can be bought for around 13.00 at home dept, good sized ones, 55w actual, 250w equivalent. Two of those instead of 4 23w,which is a wash in bill size would help IMHO. Massive grow karma sent your way!

No ph meter yet but i plan on getting one, but thank you for the advice Ill have to go and check out my local shops again and see what i can muster up as far as lights go Im thinking of ordering dormgrows full spectrum 240w led panel soon but im not positive as i haven't seen much feed back on them.

i cant quite tell if its the pictures or the beers ive had:buds:, looks like its early onset of a cal/mag deficiency? Somebody else wanna chime in on this? And btw do yourself a favor and get a real fan and filter, that smell will eventually HAVE to be controlled if you need pure stealth. She still has a long way to go, and the smell just gets worse and worse (or better and better ). Welcome to AFN! There is a plethora of knowledge to be had here, and if you cant find what you are looking for just ask! We are a friendly community here and all chime in to help fellow growers!

Will try to do the fan and filter I have new plans for a box just haven't had the money or time to put it all together. This is my first go around so i appreciate the words of wisdom. I lucked out and can transport it to my friends house who lives in the cut, scary part will be getting it there so hopefully ill be golden on this grow but I plan to invest soon as I would like to make this a career just need to get some ignorant thinkers on the same page and maybe itll turn legal over here in the east.

I just remember having severe smell issues my first time and ONA didnt do anything for it. The smell ALMOST made it out the front door before the fan and filter went in and problem solved. Just start slow if you have to. I started about a year and a half ago with an unused shower and a 150watt HPS with 3 plants. Ive slowly pieced my current LED tent setup together over the course of that period of time. And when this weekend rolls around im gonna experiment with a different light for shits and giggles. The best word of advise i can give you is to look at anything and everything on this site. From new growers to the plant infirmary. Become a sponge! There is so much knowledge here from super-experienced growers over a vast variety of topics. I still learn something everyday and i like it that way!

hell ya man its really encouraging to see the like minded people out there that are keeping positive and doing there thing I appreciate the warm welcome for sure and plan on soakin everyday its incredible what you can manage out of this awesome plant. ya i priced it out and I think i can afford something simple, I really just want a dresser from goodwill that i can gut out but i might have to settle for some bs plastic one from lowes, then comes my new fan and carbonfilter well see what the future brings im gonna have to watch some of this experimenting your gonna do I really like led lights and want to use them instead of hps. Youll prob be seein me in the future. haha thanks agian

I dont see any ca/mag prob yet unless my eyes are off but make sure not to over water and next time put more dirt in the pot unless you want it like that.But i think 100 watts per plant is a good start for lighting.If you want to go led check out Grow Northern ..its the go to LED for AFN also peeps getting Apollo with good results ..If you need some help hit me up! Aslo Craig s List has some cheep HID lights saw a 250 watter with bulb and hood for 50 bucks.

word ill definitely check those out, I more inclined to do led since less fan would be needed, leading to less noise, I currently live alone but am moving in with a chick and figure ill try n keep it out of sight for ignorance sake, she smokes n is down, her boys a big guy out here soo i don't think she would be really upset but i don't think she would be ecstatic either so i figure ill keep it secret lol but enough of that im gonna check out these apollo and grow northern, money is an issue here as i am a minimum wage worker and paying bills n tuition n that gay stuff but i figure if i invest little bits overtime ill have a bad ass system by the time i really need it and the experience to back it glad im getting to talk to some different members its nice to see the help out here.

Im currently growing Nirvanas NL as well....if treated right they will be monsters. Im using a 400W HID and they love it. The first thing I saw was you didnt fill the pot all the way up to the top! Bigger roots equal bigger plants. Well anyways....mine started flowering at day 30, showed sex at day 20, besides from a cal/mag issue its been smooth rolling. With that soil your using you will need some cal/mag once shes about a foot tall. Only water when you need to. Feel the pot wet, and then feel it when its dry...you will notice a huge difference and be able to tell when to water. The bigger the plant gets the more frequent waterings. After I initally watered and sowed my bean in the soil I didnt need to water for 2 weeks.
