are some of my plants dead already? :(

I do not recommend a pre soak. If you do like to do it, then no more than 18 hours. All that water pushes out the air bubble seeds have to oxygenate the sprout. I place my seeds directly into damp soil, coco, or root plugs and let them sprout. When they are that small I tell newbies to keep it at a 1/2-1 cup water twice a week. Make sure you are pouring around the plant half way between the pots lip. If you saturate the area directly under it only, the roots will not spread. That is the number one goal early, root system.

What medium are you using? That thought that plants do not need nutrients for the first few weeks is very wrong. The seed only has enough nutrient to get it sprouted.

Where most confusion occurs is soil and pure hydro techniques are different. If you do a potting soil mix, those already have nutrients added and are ready. If you do coco, rockwool, or dwc there is nothing in there until you add it.

Hal doesn't the medium give a good nutrient base for the first 2 weeks? I'm using BioBizz Allmix with BioBizz Root a Juice. Correct me if in wrong please so I can alter my plans for my new run I've just started

What medium? That is what determines when to feed. All nutrients will behave the same, essentially. The trick is timing and amounts.

Does it have nutrients in the soil already? You need to read the bag and tell me this stuff. Does it have a NPK rating? Always list that with a fertilizer. I do not use those so you have to tell me the ratings on the bottle, and the recommended dosage they list. Fast draining soil is great. The number one error newbies make is over watering. Seriously, no more than twice a week now.

what ive done so far is soak my seeds in a cup of water for two days then planted them in there pots of soil with the soil in picture above and stick them under my light in the tent with a fan as my temp is pritty high thats all ive done so far
