are some of my plants dead already? :(

Hal doesn't the medium give a good nutrient base for the first 2 weeks? I'm using BioBizz Allmix with BioBizz Root a Juice. Correct me if in wrong please so I can alter my plans for my new run I've just started
In regards to the first 2 weeks, you should not HAVE to add nutes to any medium. (although not recommended for our purposes) The reason for this is the cotyledon (first 2 seed leaves) should provide any nutes the plant needs until it is established.

Some day, for fun, just plant a seed (mj, or other) in plan non-amended soil and watch it grow. When the cotyledon start to yellow, the entire plant should start to look like crap.

I'm sure Hal will/can give you more solid advise on moisture for the seedling, but I personally use a spray bottle, and spray the soil twice daily till it pops. I use organic soil, your millage may vary. Take care bud, and good luck.:smoking:

@Fuggzy, there is a day and night difference between surviving and thriving. I am teaching people how to get optimum results. There have been so many growers I have seen fail terrible with autos not being fed or under fed in the sprout stage. That is how you get 12 grams off an entire plant. That is a waste of time, lol. Rich potting soil is the only one that does not need feeding from the start, because it already has it.

@haggis, how about the info from your bottles of fertilizer? The more info you give, me the better I can guide you. I do not do one size fits all info for feeding and watering. It is not as simple as that. I want to help.

I don't disagree at all, just stating the fact that a plant CAN survive with out our help. I did say to try it for fun, and did not recommend to make it a staple in their regiments. I also said you can help him more, so keep on keeping on big guy.

edit: btw, I'm not trying to be a smart alek, and believe the OP should listen to your experience.
