Are These Too Short?

Hi everyone!

On day 21 with these two Forbidden Runtz from Fastbuds. They're looking pretty short to me. I think I may have given them too much light too soon?(26" and 30k Lux starting on day 16)

If I raise the light and/or lower the lux for a few days would that get them to stretch a bit?

The particularly short one seems to be pretty overgrown too due to its short statue. Should I defoliate some?

Well, i'm not familiar enough with the strain to say if they are short but, they certainly look healthy. I wouldn't take any leaves off.

For me in my opinion the stretch will come down to genetics however with not enough light ya they will definitely stretch but not in a good way!!! the nodes will become far apart and you won’t gain any yield that way just lots of branch between buds.

Ironic that "runtz" is right in the name lol
I grew one each of creme de la chem and forgotten cookies x skyrone stomper and they were both lil fellas too..
About like that prior to preflower and stretch.. they didnt get huge, but they were respectable.. Kept waiting for a good stretch and it just never really happened. I think I have a couple pics somewhere.. Thats the luck of the draw I suppose.
