New Grower As Any One Used This HANNA HI 96304 EC meter ??

Just got one of these to try out;.......Pocket Hanna |DIST 4| HI 96304 EC/TDS meter. The meter dose not have a decimal point !! ?? So; Qs is;


Q 1)My question is;....my tap water reads 06 is that reading 6 or 0.6 ?
As you multiply by a 100 to get ppm.

Qs 2) Divide ppm by 500 to get EC, yes correct, or no incorrect ?

Ie; either its 60ppm or 600ppm a ten fold difference. Which is it ??......ab..

Update, it is 06, ie 600ppm tap water conductivity. That leaves me 600ppm "0" for nute, as 1.2 ec hanna is 600ppm !!...........and i calibrated the ec pen again, same reading. RO 4stage on the way !!........dam thats hard water, been using everyday bottled water till now. Now i need more, it's RO or bust !!........

you dont count tap water with nute dosage buy some hard water nutes
or dilute it with RO/rain water
