Okay so today is day 15 since my Cherry Bomb sprouted and when I woke up and checked on my girl I found a Aster Leaf Hopper feasting on one of my leafs, and when I reached in to kill it the leaf it was feeding upon ripped when I squished the little bastard, then I was examining the plant further and seen one of the leafs from the first set withered and I ended up plucking it from the plant.
IMG_20140830_152108.jpg my questions are, what do I do now? do I remove the part of the damaged leaf or not? and will my plant get the disease that Aster Leaf Hoppers spread???

Any advice would be great please and thank you. :jaw::no::slaps:

I think it would be fine. but if you have to cut u don't have to cut off whole leaf only that damaged part..

I ended up cutting the other 2 leafs off that the Aster hopper attacked to prevent Aster Yellow Disease from killing the whole plant

I never heard of that disease before so I wouldn't know what to look for, I might have it now.lol yeah its a trip huh I think more sativa dominant strains bugs don't like. I had crazy spider mites on a Pakistan ryder auto and right next to it for 12 hrs a day was a photo tutankhamon, not 1 bug on er..ha ha ha

well the other 2 leafs I cut were showing signs of the disease spreading so I did what I felt was necessary to save her. She's still alive though growth has slowed down a bit, but I think she'll pull through.

My wife just informed me that there was another Aster hopper looking bug on the ceiling, so I snapped a couple pics of it, one alive and one dead and it turns out to be some sort of moth. what kinda pest is this??? IMG_20140901_235657.jpgIMG_20140901_235836.jpg
