Auto critical. Something wrong.

Hello all hope all is well. This is my second grow with autos and cannabis in general everything was going well but having some issues with one of the autos. Some facts
Strain: Critical (feminized seeds)
Medium : fox farm ocean forest.

Have been feeding Ro/di water adjusted to 6.5 with 1/2 strength cal mag. The girl is bout 4 weeks in still haven't showed any signs of flowering but still getting nice new growth just having some problems with lower leaves. Want to nip this in the but. Just watered 6.5 ph adjusted with 1/4 strength fox farm grow big. The bottom leaves we're yellowish so figured it was a nitrogen def but something else is happening. Getting a runoff of 6.3. Let me know what you guys think.

Hi brother. I feel over nuting ur babies. Remember if u burn ur plants with extra nutrients it takes 2 weeks for them to recover. if less nutrients then 2 days to recover. U r problem seems like u ve over nuted them. Just keep flushing with plain pH water for awhile 1 week to 10 days. then go slow on the nutes very slow. As far as flowering wait till the 7th node.Right now looks too early.

You need to pH you Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil. There has been a very common denominator lately with problems coming into the infirmary, and that is Fox Farms OF soil. It seems that you just can not depend on a reliable pH coming out of the bag anymore. Your runoff pH indicates a suitable range, but the runoff method is very, very, variable. A good reliable soil pH probe such as an Accurate 8 will give you consistently reliable readings. Lets determine the medium pH, then we can go from there.

10-4 ordered one of amazon should be arriving tomorrow I will post back. She is still doing fine everywhere else looks nice and dark green still new growth. That leaf however is getting crispy.

Ph meter arrived. Looks like a 6.0 just gave them a nice flush. Still unsure if it's nute burn or a deficiency. Other then that she looks pretty healthy and is normally nice and perky believe she is sagging because of flush. But wtf do I know lol. She is about 15 inches tall. This is week 4.5

:smoking: Shweeeeet on the A8 probe! One thing, don't take measurements that far down, the bottom of the pot is where everything is most concentrated, and may give an inaccurate reading,.. mid-pot is fine,... OK, so the 6.0 is before, or after the flush and how much did your put through? ... 6.0 is a bit low, but not badly so,... As expected, the Fuxfarm soil is too acidic... feeds are too, so that can make matters worse,.. Ca-Mg can help some, but with the RO water, there's no minerals (CaCO3) to pH buffer, so what little is in there is getting overwhelmed,... I see a bit of tip-claw, a sing of mild N toxicity,... the lower leaves margin roasting is likely from the acidic conditions,... the flush has waterlogged the soil, and this causes root suffocation,... best let things be until she's dried out some,... you can put a nice layer of paper towels under the pot, to help wick out excess moisture and speed this process along,... pending info requested, and her drying out, we'll see what the next step should be,... I'd consider using a blend of tap and RO to get a decent hardness ppm going to help with the acidic conditions,.. can you get me data on your water, pH and a TDS/EC reading?

The water I am using is from a 5 stage ro/di system used for a saltwater reed tank. The output is 0 TDS. I have been adjusting ph to 6.3-6.5 for every watering. The flush was 2 gallons. Should I run some more or let her dry up and go from there ? Thanks for he help so far I greatly appreciate it

here's the deal on pH adjusting RO water: with no buffering minerals in there, even the smallest inputs can cause wild swings in pH,.. even CO2 from the air dissolving into it will take it from about 7.0 to low 6's, even lower sometimes,... that's how sensitive it is! It doesn't mean that the water is a relatively powerful acid though,....
No need for that, like I said, some harder water used will help, plus Ca-Mg,and adjust nute soln. to about 6.5,....
