This particular strain is a fresh one "to me", & it's doin something I haven't seen in any of my autos before.
It's in a DWC system w/600w, 20/4 cycle under HPS, & it's in its' 7th week, super bushy & 18" tall. Just yesterday it sprouted its' 1st pistils, yup, odd to be so late with those, but, Question is: Did you find it necessary to trim some of the bigger leaves off of yours to get'em to the next stages of growth?
I had to do that with my Grinspoon, & a Grapefruit, but they were photos', never had an auto wait so long for pistils. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks for your input, Burley

"Survival" trim

Well, I got no feedback on the A/K issue so, I went ahead & cut back the little auto because it was literally shading itself out from the light with all the cover it was producing over the pre/flwrs, guess we'll see what the damage is from this in time. Burley

I've had auto's like that. I suggest you toss it. I've tried to grow several that have done what you are describing... Months old and just show pre flowers... Some I waited for 7 months and what did form what crap... Others I tried doing a 12/12 to force flowers which did bring on small little buds but they were crap... Now on, if any of my autos do not act like they should, by not flowering on time and such. I will toss them and not waste my time and nutes on them. It must be something to do with with trying to infuse the DNA of ruderalis. It seems to happen to me every 1 out of 40 I plant and I notice it from less rated breeders.

Burley, the reason you weren't getting a response to your questions is because you added it to an existing Strain Review. Strain Reviews and Smoke Reports are pretty self explanatory, a place to review a strain, not to ask questions about it. I've removed your posts and made a new thread in Indoor Growing. In the future, please post in the appropriate forum. If you're not sure, just ask a moderator, they will be glad to help.

Hey Burley, have y` got any pics? It`d be interesting to see em mate! :Sharing One:

Ah yes, I see , thank you & pardon my ignorance, I'll pay more attention next time, & thanks for tighten'in up my thread. I've got some good responses on my issue since you have, Thanks again.

Yup, makes good sense, & I did step outta my norm w/this one, the breeder has been stable in the past but I don't generally get my "auto" beans from them, may have been a "freebie" kinda thang. In all this time, I've only had one (1) flower that was completely hemp...I mean "bunk", no trichs at all, but a real nice lookin plant. haven't traded w/that company since(that I know of), Thanks for your feedback & I believe I'll toss this flower. Thanks Again

Well, guess I could drag out the microcam, it's great for trichs & "real" close-ups but not too good for "aerial" shots. I'll see what I can do.

i tuck fan leaves and trim sparingly if leaves are covering bud sites, but how big is your DWC set up delayed flowering might have been due to mass veg/root growth whats that rootball look like? if you've already invested the time to get it this far finish it out :) look forward to seeing it

Yeah, that's kinda the thing..the fan leaves had just "taken over" the whole plant, oh it's a beautiful "shrub" bush, just no real production yet. Usually my autos are well into flowering with "trich" production by now, but this one...well, hmm. Uh, "rootball"? well they hardly ever actually ball up, the O2 keeps things pretty well separated in the buckets, but they're nice & white..ish, my mother frt. jc. chron.photo balled up though, about the 3rd season, thought I was gonna have to go bigger bucket huntin.

Prez2.0 awesome update- went out to cull my A/K & I've got small flowers "ALL OVER" it, flowers...many. I guess it was waitin for me to cut it back, nev'r seen anything like this, gonna send ya a pic asap, very impressive bush. to think I almost culled it, hmm.
