Tjis was this morning I have the light the hps light about 2 ft from tops of plants I may raise it back up another foot or 6 inches but I did the back of the hand trick and I feel the heat but its not like burning my hand I could hold it there for ten mins and not be uncomfortable untill it started to give me a sun burn but the humidity was around 50 percent and since I havent watered in about 3 days this is the firsts its dropped to around 20 30 percent humidity but temps stayed constant around 80 degress and u cansee I have thermometer on the back wall under light

Day 10 just read the deficiency guide for new growers and now I think I have every problem cause my plants look funny the big one has a weird leaf and does the light from a hps make leaves look yellowish to light green idk but heres some pics gave them aroind a gallon of water each then tested the run off and its between 6.5 and 7.0 I pretty sure I used my soil ph tester that uses the powder u add to soil but just put powder from capsule in twstwr abd added run off water to it run off water was yellow too dont know if thats normal or not the feed water was around 6.5 when I watered it I use a air stone and keep 4 gallpms of water In a tub with stone running 24 7 is this just getting the wster to a stable ph faster or does it still keep water oxygenated when I feed my plants?

The MG soil was a bit of a booboo - it's got nasty time release stuff in it that burns most of our autos (especially when little)
The PH needs dropping really - ideally you'll be somewhere around the 6.2 - 6.4 in soil
She won't need any feed for a while - resist the temptation ^_^
It's unlikely your little one has a deficiency at this age, so its all about PH, soil and environment

Yeah - Tiny bit of water when they're this big every 4 days sounds about right.
Temps and Humidity isnt too bad! I'd like the heat a little lower (75-80) but 80f is fine for growing.
With those readings, if problems keep cropping up, it's most likely the water PH or pre-nuted soil.

Thw MG soil is like 10 15 percent of the mix and I watered the soil a week before planting cause I saw a u tube videi to water pri mix a week before and its ph goes from 6.2 to 5.8 but I did see the yellow balls in the soil im guessing is the time released nutes hey any suggestuons for my ph testing I have a 5 or 6 tests ph water test where I drop a drop of solution 4 and then 5 drops solution 2 and match color with color scale next ti test tube thing is it only goes as low as 6.9 so I ph my water and get it yellow when I test it but for all I know it could be 2.2 ph cause the color scale is for testing pool water im hoping lowes carries one that covers 0 to 9 ph that or I have a 10 pack of the soil ph test that u add water and a capsule of some powder with a pinch of dirt to check ur soil ph does tjat work if I just add powder and my feed water and no soil
What sucks is I have a 9 gal pot of soil I need to water so I try to keep it a few inches away feom plant stem when I water them but lowes is my first stop after work today to pick up a bettter ph test and im gonna look into the cfl bulbs to hang over a plant anf rotate it with the other plant each day just to add some blue light to the mix oh and some insecticide cause I have seen a couple little pests creeping on the soil any preventive insecticides to recomend I use or keep on hand I already have my sticky fly stripes but last thing I need is to make it to flower then pest come and think im growing buds for there enjoyment
I know im ramnling but the paper u used in high school chem class to test ph where woukd would they sell that like petsmart cause thats what I need to find and I dont have any hydro stores around me or id go there also I jusy found out im on well water not city water cause I never have any chlorine in my water straight from the tap when I test it so I asked my landlord and he said im on well water

Yea its 80°f under the light plus I have a med breeze of air from my fan blowing down on them so that should be helping them stay cool now should I be blowing down on them from above or is blowimg them across like from left to right better till I get a oscillating fan so I can let them flap around then be still flap ve still so that they can release oxygen then blow it off leaves and takein the co2 release oxygen on leaves blow it off catch new co2 maybe next grow ill make a redneck co2 fan u tube jay the grow pro he has a 2 hour lecture on growing autoflowers which is what the base of my grow plan is/was its real informative and he talks about get a sealed off bucket with a hose put yeast and other stuff in it to make co2 gas then hook up tube behind the oscillating fan and let ut blow co2 on your plants which aounds very good for plants and cheap and easy to make
