This will be my first post so... be nice
My latest crop, had some different strains in there just to experiment a little
but this post is just about the NLs and potsizes.
Set up:
Auto Northern Light
dirt pots 26l
plastic pot 6,5l
perlite/cocos medium (50/50 blend)
600w HPS
600w digital ballast
tent 1x1m
I wanted to try this just because i really wanted to see the difference how much more i could get from one plant if i gave it a quite much bigger pot (I Almost Always used sog before). If it were better to sog with smaller pots or for example scrog with fewer bigger pots and which option i would get out the most of.
Both of the flowers were planted at the same time, one in 6,5l plastic pot and the other one in 26l pot in some soft fabric that breaths and drains very well.
Personally i will from now on always go with fewer but bigger pots.
mostly because:
less maintenence
easier to water the plants (in small areas like mine)
some really really fine quality buds
better if some facist comes and knocking on your door (and gives the penalty by how many plants you have)
and just less to think about
So the yield for the plants:
Big NL ~ |294gr cured| 1200gr wet|
Small NL ~ 70gr
I have not tried the small one yet but the big NL is some real nice bud
Mean while....My next babies are growing up to become some really beutiful women, pics on them are coming soon ;D
