I checked my PH tool with 4.0 and 7.0 solutions - it only measured 0.1 out on each solution - but the difference it made in measuring my tap water was more than 0.1.
I'm glad I looked into it - it might explain some of the problems I've been having. Just to err on the safe side, I flushed one more time with water PH'ed to 6.5 (as measured by my newly calibrated PH meter - ha ha!).
I had to leave town for three days after the flush - but the lady looked as though it had done her some good, when I checked upon return.
She had pushed out more pistols - straightened out most of her claws - and she had definitely added some scent to the air. However, she had also added an inch or so to most of her shoots - which would be unusual were she about to burst into flower, wouldn't it? Her bud sites are still looking "wispy to non-existant" at best.
I returned to work, today - so will only be able to watch from afar for the next three weeks. I have to admit to being a little disappointed that I wasn't able to witness her progress a little more rapidly, while I was home from work - but it is what it is.
So - today is day 85 above ground - and she really hasn't done much in the last month or so.
Realistically - is she still a viable plant? I will pursue this grow until there is an obvious conclusion, one way or the other - but I can't help but be curious as to whether experienced growers think she may still produce flowers like the ones I see in other grow journals on this site.
Or has my bumbling doomed her to a life that won't see her fulfill her potential?
I'm just curious, as I haven't run across any grow journals on this site that feature a plant of this age that is so far behind the curve, production-wise.
Thank you in advance for your insight and thoughts.
