help using forum

im 61 with limited computer skills and have trouble seeing due to diabetes im having trouble using these forums if any one can give me a few pointers on how to get around the site and with my growing i have another post with my info and experiance if you would like to take a look at what soils and nutriants etc. the help would be much appreciated thanks alot

Hi Cliffhanger, If your posting and have a thread you got the sharing bit down. How you use AFN and what you get out of it is up to you. Lots of great info in the stickies, threads above the masses posts. Lots of great recipes for all different kinds of medication.

cliffhanger all 25 seeds poped within under 48 hours all seeds are started in red drinkcups with seed germination soil then outdoors water ph 6 right on hope tohold inside aweek then outside to the smart pots if iget the weather have agood day 12.30 am past bed time thank you

Welcome to AFN. The forum home page has a listing of all the forums. Think of it as a filing cabinet. When you open a given forum, it's like opening a drawer. Inside that drawer are various folders, or threads in our case. Those threads contain the actual information and discussions, like the contents of a folder would. some say barneys sweet tooth does not auto some say they do i have 10 starting to pop some heads up out of the dirt comin up on the end of the first day in dirt after a2 day germination anyone have any good news about barneys fem sweettooth autos cliffhanger

11.30 p my time getting a lot of likes not alot of info so far 15 out of 25 are showing i guess i will wait 2weeks let them feed off ss 4 then start on a light dose of plant prod bloom mabe an eight or a quarter stay at no more than half recomended on canister i hear less can be better later cliff hanger

Hey Cliff,

Some things to consider regarding futures posts on the forum.

1) Start 1 post for each grow under New Growers Forum.
2) For your title, give it a descriptive name, ie. White Widow Indoor Grow, OG Kush DWC, something that tells people what your post is about.
3) Describe in detail your setup for the grow, ie lights, grow media, nutes, lighting, water, etc. on the first post.
4) After that post has been started, continue to comment in that same post until the end of the grow. It allows people to keep up with what you are doing, how things are going and research your grow from beginning to end.
5) If you have any questions/problems during the grow, ask them in your original post. See 4) people can go back and see what you have been doing without asking you a bunch of redundant questions.
6) Once you have finished that grow, start a complete new post with a detailed description and begin again.

Hopefully this will help you keep things a little more organized and help people help you.
