Hey guys,

I just inherited a 2 x 2 x 5 10, along with a spider farmer 1000 light.

Do you think I could run that light, in addition to an auto cob 3500, or would that be too much light for that footprint?

How much incremental benefit would you think I would get by adding my auto cob to that light and tent?

Thanks so much guys, super appreciated!!!

Two autocobs will work for that footprint if your growing auto's. Heck maybe one would be enough. I grew 4 autocobs in a 3x3x6 (highest lumens was smack dab in the middle of the tent) then upgraded to 5 autocobs in a 3x5x7' so it doesn't take a ton of light imho. More is not always better.

I run an hlg 100 in a 2x2x4 that I use as a hobby breeding project at the moment. With the light all the way to the top the plants hate it for most part lol. 5 feet would be better I think that extra light will be too much. If you decided to add it in late flower it may not be too bad depending on final height of the plant and strain. All you can do is find out.

I’m sure the spider farmer on its own in a 2 x 2 x 5 will work fine, but it just feels wrong to have the auto cob sitting in a box next to the tent :-)

I’m just afraid to give them too much light, but should study up more on that and also just bought a light meter so need to do some more homework.

Any other insights would be super appreciated!

The spider farmer is plenty for a 2x2. Maybe another tent for the cob.
