Lighting Autocob Madness

Damn it's looking good in there! I wish I had a room like that to work in again. Oh the glory days. Haha. You might want to push those back 2 autocobs out a little more like the front ones depending on how much room the plants take in the back area. You definitely want a good spread of light.

Either way I'm pumped for you. It's just a matter of time till you're pullin good harvests out of there.

Also, I'm jealous of the cob shop sticker. I think my girlfriend threw the shipping box out that had the sticker in I so I couldn't throw it in my tent:/

Pm me your address and I’ll send you a few.

Apparently autos don't need as much light as photos so they are more sensitive to the lights.
I thought Autos loved light and the more light they have the better they grow.

Nice room. Nice light setup. I predict bountiful harvests.

:thanks: I hope so and sorry for the late response

My room is almost complete 2 more Autocobs and I'm ready to grow my 3rd grow

Can you fit a flood table in there? In my smaller space I couldn’t fit a table so I used some Epdm-rubber roofing. Vacuuming up a floor or saucers was one of my worst chores. With the tables you can pitch them so any runoff flows forward and it’s easier to cleanup.

The room looks amazing. You will see the AutoCob benefits shine when the plants are growing at different rates. Really excited to watch!

Autos receive light for longer hours per day than photos. This is the one of the two variables for the daily light integral.
An example for photos is 600 watts x 12 hours per day. That’s 7200 watts per day.
With autos 300watts x 24 hours per day. This is the same 7200 watts per day. This is the reason why you can run less wattage and still get prime results. I have tested this and found it to be 100% accurate as well. What happens on forums is people see 1-2lb photos and try to copy this with their autos. If you wanted 1-2 pound photos you would first need to start with photos. For the guys growing here on AFN-AUTO flower network who ask me for recommendations I base everything on autos. If I get asked outside Afn my first question is what are you growing. The recommendation is definitely different. This has been a pretty hard learning curve. More is usually not better.

Anyone selling good lights at a fair price is doing good by me. Each company has its own benefits.

So longer periods of light less wattage so my Timber is 400 watt and 4 Autocobs @ 228 is this enough for my space

I’d say that’s more than enough. With autos you are basically doubling the plants light exposure by growing for longer hours. You can lower the hours down to 18-19 per day if you are giving the plants to much. This will absolutely help.
