... undercooked, off pH garbage IMO,... some folks get OK bags, so it must come down to local sourcing and mixing,... best find a way to test in-pot pH, what you put in is no reflection of what the pot is, too many other influencing factors once in there! Accurate 8 soil pH probe is a good choice for the $$,... Di water has no buffering minerals (CaCO3) in it, so this will make matters worse, not better for acidic pH,... COB's are fine at that height, this is not a light burn issue,... start watering with harder water, tap that's dechlorinated, and/or add Ca-Mg that not nitrate based entirely.. it's the carbonate part that's involved mostly in pH buffering,... molasses has significant amounts of Ca, Mg and lesser K,... a little Fe too,...
