Hello,

I have 10 Northern Light Autos and 1 Super skunk Auto and I germinated them for 72 hours with the water cup method.

I was wondering my seeds were all cracked open and some had little white taproots and some had green taproot coming out the side of the shell of the seed is this normal?.

I have attached an image of my seeds in the glass and also a picture of them once I planted them in to soil can anyone give me any advice please on how these seeds look and will they brake the soil?.

I have covered the seed with soil now aswell.

Hey Markob, it won't let me see the pics however if you have the taproot showing and you planted them, not much else you can do except wait and see. Does it look abnormal coming out? Maybe someone who can actually see pics might be able to see something.

I have tried to post it again can you see them?

Yes, I can see your pics. I found that if you check the remember me box when you log on it lets you look at pics, but it won't remember you. Once the root comes out that's when you better plant it in moist (not wet) soil. My hands shake so I plant before the seeds crack, and I use the poke and pray method. Now comes the hard part, do nothing. Your soil looks wet, the number one mistake for seedlings. If they come up in a day or two, do nothing. When you can post pics or a discription of your set up. You will feed around day 10-14 at 1/4-1/2 the recomended rate with enough water to get some runoff (excess water from the bottom of the pot), check the ph of this runoff. You have some research to do so check other grows of the same plant and ferts if you can find them.

ive done a few grows before but haven't come across seeds that look like the ones above.

I have only done a few grows myself and never let the seed soak for more than 12-16hrs so I don't really know. Autos are different from photos in a lot of ways and the advice for the two is different, also the auto plants are not as stable so every grow seems different. I have only lost one grow (all the seeds) and that was because I though I could mix my own soil, I try and keep it simple now.
