Hi guys,

this is my second grow and I am growing sweet ZZ and Royal Kush. Now it seems like this time around as opposed to last it is taking longer for the plants to have flowered and now complete their flowering to be harvested. I am not seeing amber and the pistols (those white strands shooting out) are not really turning amber - which is what I used last time as an indicator.

Does anyone have any other tips as to when they could be ready or signs to look for ?

The plants have also erected significantly more than the previous 2 and have ascended into the lights so I am faced with an issue with room as well.

Whenever I pull the plants out of the tent to water them I notice some fan leaves are falling, I am not sure if this is a "sign" or just a byproduct of the plants brushing against each other.

I have attached some photos from last week.

And also if anyone has dealt with the spacing issue that being the plants are too close together might you be so kind as to tell me how you handled it ?

Cheers.

Looks like that one is showing more photo lineage. I grow in small pots so I can pack as many as I can into 12 sq ft. I've had no complaints that I could attribute to groping but I'll keep a watchful eye.

It's frustrating when auto's go so long but the upside is a big harvest. You can get a few more inches of space by folding the wires that are suspending the light in half.

I feel your pain and confusion. I am about to do a second harvest for autos that have been growing for 15 weeks... I think my issue was from keeping the coco too saturated early on and stunting the plants. The good news is I'm doing a staged harvest and the first harvested is pretty amazing, even without curing. I still don't have amber in the remaining buds a week later though and they seem to want to grow more...
