Ok so i've been growin out flowers since february and I've notice that i cant quite get that real nice, smooth, and flavorful taste yet out of my buds. I shouldnt necessarly say the smoke is harsh, but for the quality and potency of the bud im growing its should match it in taste. I used fox farm ocean frost soil and sea grow nutes. I flush with just water for at least a week. and heres the plant ive grow so far. I usualy dry the buds 4-5 days and then jar them to cure. I've only been able to let my buds cure for 2-4 weeks before smoking, try to create enough supply so they can all cure for at least a month or more. And heres the plants ive grow so far.

purple lowryder
low rider 2
easy ryder
purple kush
afghan kush
fast bud 2
sweet tooth

The best tasting was one of my low ryder 2 plants. My opinion is purple kush sucks! def not growing them ever again. So any tips for better smoke?

Cure longer. I'd say that anything I've grown has more or less "sucked" inside a 30 day window. My best stuff was over 4 months old of uninterrupted, untouched curing inside a sealed glass jar in a cold, pitch black cabinet.

Another thought might have to do with how you harvest...is your soil bone dry and are your plants partially wilted when you chop? If not, try that...sometimes people chop too soon after watering and they get a grassy/hay smell and taste to their herb.

I'm to start curing longer. What they best tasting Auto u had?

Mossy's Purple AK-47...tastes like lavender with a distinctly fruity but not sweet flavor. It's almost like all the tastes of rich flowers, roses, etc. That being said, I have unconventional tastes...not much for super-sweet or fruity, I prefer a dryer taste...I'm a chardonnay guy, not a zinfandel, if ya know what I'm sayin'.
