New Grower Autoflowers using aeroponics ?

Hey people, let me introduce myself - everyone in my circle of life just calls me Street. I am new here on this un F in unbelivable helpful information sight but not new to the game we are all in. I have grown outside fields since the late 70's always starting inside months earlier (you know) to sex + select, way before Fem Seeds were even thought of. I started my first grow inside 4 years ago using a NTF tube type setup with everything on 24 hrs, I know - old school but thats what I knew then, Now I run the same tube type NTF system only aeroponic with pumps on 1 min + off 5 mins with nutes at much higher levels and in veg lights 18/6. My systems Scream! I SOG + ScRog with great results every time (well mabey not everytime) but with very little problem. Anyway thats me and my question to you guys is CAN AUTOFLOWERS BE GROWN AEROPONICLY? My idea is to start in small rockwool cube when roots show thru cube place in net pots with standard clay pellets + run in aero system. What do you guys think? shout at me if you can add anything Thanks - :no::no:STREET

welcome street ive 2 autos in aeroponics it can be done but it has problems, when you grew init did you use clones? icant get my nutes up to the recommended amount one question do you use a mister sj

Holy sit I never thought I would get an answer so quick - and I thank you for that my new grow brother KUDO. I, as all of you once were am a nube to forum posting but not new to reading forum posts. This AFN sight has passed on so much of others first hand learned experence both good + bad to me threw the thousands of posts I've already read (some of yours included) that I thought it was finaly time to jump in, so thanks for the welcome:smokebuds: It's a go with aeroponics - cool, I new the autos can be a little touchie. Big time interested in the new hydro sight too, and gonna start with Pineapple Express-Barney's Farm - love those guys unless you could steer me to something you've tried thats been tru to you. Cool deal 2 replys on my first day of posting + on my first post - man I thank you for that smokerjoker. Hey I am not new to this game we all play called (quiet growing) in my neck of the woods. Just lookin' for a little look down the new road I'm jumping on of Auto's that has come our way.What type of problems you having with your Auto's ? Hey in answer to you asking about me cloning for all of my systems all I can say is, why yes, I made clones - how eles could I keep my grows full. As far as the nutes go I always ran (NFT tube systems) 800 to900 ppm, then I blew my mind when I switched to Aeroponic using the same systems, only because my pumps were now only 1 min on 5 mins off my ppm was at 1600 to 1800 ! And last I have always used + still do 360* misters in all of my systems and cloners + no matter how many filters or screens you run they sometimes get clogged, but if you keep tight maintainence on your equipment (like we all should) and change or clean them when you change out your res + for new starts you should have few problems in the years to come, I've been using them for years with really no problems. Welcome to AFN...we actually grew an auto recently in my wife's aerogarden ...its a really cool contraption,complete with cfl lights,air pump ,timer and 24" height extension....aeroponics rock!!

yeah street only found this site a few months ago nearly gave up growing but thanks to a grow by seymour on this site i started again was really going blind trying to work out what people meant on you tube i use sprinkler heads im also got my roots in res, the reason i ask about clones, with autos each plant is different(they each need to be looked after ) go to new growers section theres a sticky on life cycle of the autoflower. take 5mins to read.ive read it maybe 10 times. scrog has only started here with autos but fuck me its taking off. check out my thread click the link below if you do start at the end sj
